Cheater is still rampant in Dark Zone?

Have to rage quit and get my a$$ to the forum to ask you guys. So i was solo farming in the DZ, was about to extract (put my loot onto the rope already) and suddenly i met a player come in and turn rogue. Now here is the odd or problem: I was playing as Predator full 6 piece with 9k Stamina, maxium gear score (291) i stack a bit more on health in mod bonus so totally i have 9k4 health and yet, he killed me almost instantly when the rogue inform pop up. He killed me so damn fast i didn't even have time to react to press V to use medkit, seriously, even pro league csgo can't react that fast, i must had died in less that 0,5 second, didn't even have a slight chance to shoot him enough to trigger my predator ability. I have no idea he was behind me all the time because i was busy clearing mobs and i didn't have any clue what type of gun he used but i pretty sure it was a assault rifle.

Question: Was he cheating or not? I am a tank and yet for some reason he killed so fast like i was nothing but a plastic paper despite i can tank quite ok with heroic enemy (not the shotgun rusher of course). Or he simply had "Better gear build" than i had (highly doubt it)? Especially since my server is China which very famous with cheating and hacking problem

This is not the first time i metthis situation. Almost a year ago when i quit D1 and waiting for D2 i remember i met a very simular case but this time a guy with The House (SMG) killed me just as fast as the guy mention above. I'm very confusing and angry, all i want is to extract gold chest for division tech point to upgrade my gear, all my work and time just gone to their hand while i have absolutely no hope to even shoot back. This is what keeping me away from the DZ, not because of i am afraid of the PvP but i fear of playing against cheater

Hey KissYourHomie, if you encounter a player you are suspicious of being a cheater, please report them to Ubisoft Support and we will take the appropriate actions. Screenshots, videos, or any additional details you can provide are extremely helpful to include in your report. Thank you.

There are hackers in this(all) (PC)game(s)?
No one is ever going to stop hackers on PC.
Best thing to do is go console.
    Sorry its the sad truth.
    Hackers/Games will always be...
    Sorry

Truth. There will always be cheaters on the PC, but if companies invest more in this problem with harsh penalties, the problem may be minimized.

100% this is cheating. Although speed hacks and shooting through walls and around corner hacks are not so common, more rogue players in the DZ run RPM hacks than not. They essentially dial up their weapon RPM to 5k or higher. I actually had a rogue unload an entire Hungry Hog clip (100+ rounds) into me instantly. I mean it sounded like one "bang" and I was down. I should note that I was a solo Nomad with with no cool down on Path of the Nomad, and had full Recovery Link too, so somehow he ripped through at least three full lives of mine in 1/2 second. It all happened so fast I have no idea if my Nomad proc'd more than once, so it could have been four or five for all I know, but for absolutely sure it was three.

How the game even allows this I cannot say, other than terrible programming. I can say that three times I've reported players doing this with RPM hacks, dumping an entire extended clip on the House (60+ shots) and reloading all in less than a second, providing video evidence too, and Ubi did nothing. I mean, there was no "maybe..." or "could it be...?" about it. The cheating was clear as could be to anyone with their eyes open, but to date I still see the guy tearing up the DZ, everyone complaining about his RPM hacks.

So long story short, if you want to farm the DZ get used to it. RPM hacks are everywhere now; literally you're in a minority if you aren't running one, and the reason is because they get away with it. Plain and simple. They're not invincible or shooting through walls, so Ubi says the cheat isn't bad enough to warrant a ban.

I agree with the poor programming comment. I would think just a line or two of code that specifies the maximum RPM for each weapon would stop it (would probably have to allow a variable for Lone Star and Tac Link). And, for semi-auto's, measure the click speed of some of the fastest gamers in E-Sports and set that as the cap for semi-auto's.

I had to kick someone off my team the other day (PUG) because he was using RPM hack even in PvE. What these people get out of it I'll never know.

In the past 9 weeks I have not gone in even once without coming across at least one obvious hacker. Not saying they all cheat, just saying every singe DZ incursion encounters a minimum of one - usually with a "BR" in the gamer tag and/or a Portuguese-sounding name (though not exclusively).

Why FairFight is still even sold as an anti-cheat app I have no idea. It's clearly no more effective than hanging a Post-it on your monitor that says "Cheaters Not Allowed!"
