Fun Concept Idea

In the image above, you'll see my player level of 14 pitted against a level 21 opponent. I've taken the liberty of blocking out the player names so as to maintain anonymity.
This happens quite regularly - in fact, the large majority of games I play are against players that are at least 2-3 levels higher, and in many cases 6-7. Given that this has been the norm since I started playing this game, I figure that this must be an entirely intentional game-design move. Sure, it makes for an interesting challenge, and certainly feels rewarding if by some miracle I win one of these games... but I haven't been able to shake the feeling that maybe there's a better way.
Then it hit me.
Think of, well, every sport ever. There's OHL and NHL, Little Leagues and Big Leagues, each with their own individual ranking systems. The same sport, but multiple divisions. SPPD sort of has this, with wood shield, silver shield etc... but ultimately everyone's still thrown into one ranking system regardless of their experience or deck quality.
What if there were a system in place that ensured each and every opponent we face was of a similar caliber to that of our own? By that I mean not only PVP-rank, but also of a similar level and deck quality. I've even thought up a name for such a system. I call it... "Matchmaking".
Think about it! An even, fair match between two players of a similar level both competing for the same prize.
OK, /Sarcasm Off. But seriously though, there's no reason a level 14 should ever have to face a level 21. It reminds me of something....
