I totally love the idea of Talent and all BUT i think now it's over for this type of improvement , too much hero ,too much balance, too much time for Ubisoft , for me in the actual state in the game is not possible, and if they do ,that gonna be a big carnage in the actual game(at my eyes off course) but i very like the idea for my part!

This is something that belongs in an RPG/MMO PvE game not a PvP fighting game.

I would be all in for such a thing!

This game desperatly needs some kind of individualization. Perks are really not enough.

For Honor used to have gear system able to promote character customization. You could build with faster feat coolodown ; or better revenge ; or better average stats.

Now, we have this crappy perk system clearly in favor of Heavy characters and no customization.

Thank you for reading my post, and yea they should add a gear system or something back but more simplified with like stamina, strength and stuff like that, and per each 100 or so points you gain X amount of improvement in that stat.
let's say accuracy could increase your finishers damage by X amount but lower your normal and chain hits damage by X amount or strength will just increase your damage overall by X amount, stamina could increase your health and stamina by X amount.

I'd rather For Honor 2 be an open world action semi mmorpg. Choose your faction, create your character and give them a fight deck similar to Absolvers. Have classes actually mean something. Choose your main weapon, but your character can use other weapons you just have to level the proficiency up and stuff like that.

You can still have Dominion and such by having everything normalized, but in the actual open world part, gear matters.

Plus it would be cool with the fight deck type system not knowing what moves your opponents have equipped.

    Im with vakris.
I really love this idea, but it would make tje game far less balanced and more confusing. Matchmaking would need to be based on this lvl alone or it would take too long and be unfair. There could be a custom gameplay mode foe this, or it could apply just to arcade style modes. Additionally it would destroy perks, and the old gear system.

More on that note. The old gear system was retired because it made characters far too strong and unbalanced. And the old gear system tended to push attack to a max of +20% so just a ten point warden would already be able to deal +15% dmg in situation with bonus base damage. This would very obviously be OP

Again i love this idea but in pvp it would make things even worse, unless a test mode was given to us specifically for playing with these talent trees active.

Also a big part of this game is learning what your opponent can and cant do. With this talent system everything would be way to unpredictable.

Here is me picking out just a few that would be immediatly way OP even by themselves (stronger already than any perk in the game)

Deep wounds, + heavy blade would be insane. Your talking 19 extra dmg before any other % bonuses on a LIGHT. Most lights dont even have tha much dmg at base

Unending revenge alone is way too powerful.

Siegebreaker + ^^DW+HB would be utter insanity. 19 bonus dmg + a 35 hp overshield + 30% dmg? Two crushing counters would kill anyone in the game.

Overwhelming power. Anything effecting recovery times, or opponent movement speed, would massively destroy what semblance of balance we already have.

yeah... I almost cant feel the advantage of using perks. I know Ubi wants to make a more balance gameplay for newbie, but still this is underwhelming
