    Amazing Weather...

Usually I moan about the weather in Ubisoft games, Watch Dogs was ruined by the rain as was The Crew.....but I absolutely love the weather in D2.
It adds a whole stealth dimension and it looks beautiful.
At the moment it's nightime and raining and I'm just stood in the dark watching the flashes of lightening listening to the cracks of thunder and getting soaking wet...its glorious.
Equally when I get the pea soup fog and can run around freely killing baddies without them seeing me it gives me great joy...
So thanks Ubi, you got it right for me this time.
Now how about sorting a new Splinter Cell out...

Yep, it's the best weather I've ever seen in a game. My only complaint (and it's a mild one) is that the day/night cycle is a little too fast. But the weather (from the rain to the wind/dust storms) is amazing. I've had to wait to take control points because the wind/dust storm was just too bad.

Night time rain, thunder and lightening with the Crossbow specialization.....it's like Rambo in First Blood!!! Lol

Glad you're enjoying the weather!! As someone based in the American south, I personally love when thunderstorms come and cool down the 90 degree (~32 in Celsius) days. The storms in The Division 2 kind of give me the same sense of relief.

The weather is very well done and adds to great atmosphere. Also it requires a bit more adaptation ... nothing beats running around like chickens, cursing, and trying to find containers to destroy on Island at night with fog so dense you see dog s..t I mean you do not see even that until you step on it. Or fighting Wyvern in the middle of a sandstorm, we had to ask 2 people to deploy watcher drones to at least tag enemies because it was madness.

I'm with you brother! I do really like the night time thunderstorms! It would be cool if there was a stealth mode, then we could really go Rambo! But, that's more along the line of Ghost Recon.

Except for the implausible sand storm.

Yep I miss my stealth, Splinter Cell all day...
But you could easily have a Stealth mode in this, it would be awesome....it would have been even better in D1 in the Survivor add on...you couldn't see anything in that until you were on top of it..

I don't like it, but it's just my opinion. If I was to start a Roosevelt Island or Capitol Building mission and it's raining or so foggy that I can't see in front of my nose I am seriously back in 10 minutes so I can see wtf I need to be killing. It looks good but sometimes it can be a big hinderance especially if I am watching the mini map for flankers and then I get a hail of bullets from 2 directions and then the NPCs move on to a new position I have no idea where they have gone.

Some people like the weather and I guess some people don't. You can't please everyone.

Been playing since release and have only ever seen this once. Very good effect but I assume the dust bowl effect happens occasionally in the US.
