Mouse stutter no matter what I do

I have contacted support regarding this issue and have worked with them, however, nothing seems to help. All my drivers are up to date, I have tried turning dx12 off, I have messed with all the graphics settings possible, I have done pretty much everything imaginable to include, only booting with Microsoft services, and Turned G-sync off and on, I have completely re-installed my video drivers, with a clean install. I will post specs below. I also have a ticket for this in case any Ubisoft people come on this post and it is: 08902525.

    PC SPECS:
    ROG STRIX 1080 TI
    Intel I9 7900x 10 core
    64Gb Ram
    2Tb SSD
    4Tb HDD
    Windows 10 Pro
    DX12

Is this still an issue for anyone else?

Please consider increasing the size of your pagefile.sys file, as I see that you have a large amount of RAM. That usually means that the file is very small, but it is required for The Division 2.

How exactly would I go about increasing it?

If I go to the game folder for the Division 2, there is no such file under the game folder.

    Have you tried this:

If you play KB/Mouse (not my case, I play with an XBOX Ctrl):
TheDivision2.exe should run on "low" priority (you cannot change TheDivision2.exe priority because of EAC, but if you change to "low" the priority of the uPlay processes before launching the game, TheDivision2.exe will start on "low").

Pagefile.sys is a system file that cannot usually be accessed. Some players with high RAM delete the file, as it takes up some hard drive space, but that is not recommended for the Division 2. We do not have a direct guide for increasing that file size, but it should be a consideration for advanced troubleshooting considering other steps have not helped.

What brhume recommended could certainly also help. If you open up Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc and go to Details you will see a list of processes. Scroll down to the bottom and find 'upc.exe'. If you right click that process and choose 'select priority' you can set upc.exe to Low or Below Normal. With that priority changed The Division 2 will open as Low or Below Normal respectively. This could help with your mouse stutter.

yeah I tried that unfortunately that didn't work, although it was only sitting at normal priority before, my cpu never went over 70% so I don't understand, when I unpliug my mouse, and plug in a Microsoft wireless mouse, it seems to work better, but not completely gone.

I also tried increasing my pagefile, between 5-10Gb and that didn't seem to work either.

    Mouse stutter solution

    Hey,

    read this: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...division-2-app

    and this : https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...PU-usage-issue

You can test this workaround. For me it was the solution.

I use this with cpu priority on high (00000003)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\TheDivision2.exe\PerfOptions]
    "CpuPriorityClass"=dword:00000003

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Copy this in your editor (txt file) and rename the filename from xxx.txt to xxx.reg.

Then double-click the xxx.reg file and klick OK on the Windows request , that save this to your Registry.

When you will use another priority see the CpuPriorityClass and edit the number after the zero's.

    CpuPriorityClass

    Priority - Value

    Idle - 1
    Normal - 2
    High - 3
    Below Normal - 4
    Above Normal - 5

Use this workaround on your own risk !!! Make better a backup before you edit the Registry.

    Bye
