So, I was super excited for the raid. After 1000+ hours in the Division and about 600 hours in Div2 so far, I definitely am pretty good at the game, able to do all the existing content with little to no effort. My builds are all min maxed to perfection, even after the patch, and I play with a solid clan of people with similar skill, time played and build understanding. However, we all play on Xbox One...
We have now tried the raid repeatedly and still can't clear boomer reliably. Yes, it can be done... But the pc crowd can do the whole raid in 23 minutes, and on console the record is 19 hours (this may have changed since I last checked). This is ****ing ridiculous and clearly something is wrong here.
You basically just took a dump on console players (which is a HUGE percentage of your market), and now the player count is the lowest I've ever seen it. There is NO ONE in safe houses or the dz, because quite frankly I think people are just done with this game and the raid was the nail in the coffin. My clan had about 20-25 active members daily. More on the day the raid dropped. Now it's 4-5. And no one wants to retry the raid.
The fact that you have locked gear sets and the best AR in the game behind this nearly insurmountable and incredibly frustrating experience... I just don't understand.
I loved this game on launch, stuck with it since, and will probably continue to play. And I've never complained about difficulty before. HOWEVER, this time, there IS an issue with the raid on console and it needs to be fixed. We don't have the advantage that the pc crowd does, and clearly this hasn't been taken into account when creating this content.
I hope to see this addressed before it's too late and no one wants to play this game anymore. You seem to be pushing fans away with the raid on console, not bringing them in. No one in their right mind would opt in to trying the same **** over and over for 19+ hours, even if it's split up over the course of a week.
THIS IS NOT FUN.
Sincerely,
-A Disappointed Fan
Is anyone keeping track of how many overly dramatic nails in the coffin we have seen to date. Every week there is another rager in here saying the game is done. Every week all the safe houses are empty again. Every week all of someones friends quit and their clan doesn't come online anymore. Then, the next week, they all do it again. It is the damnedest thing.
It's a fail on the consoles is due to the fact that it was not tested on consoles before release and massive DID NOT allow for the inherent differences in how the console works vs the PC.. Slower frame rates and clunkier movements of the controller maker it a much harder mission as compared to that of the PC. The failure is a squarely on Massive for being to lazy to make sure that the game play was of the same difficulty for all platforms.

Well all I can say is that prior to the Special Assignments coming out the safe houses where empty. The day they came out the safe houses had a respectable number of players in them. Too bad the assignments where such a sad excuse for a mission or what ever you would call it. But since then the numbers have dwindled again and I don't see any groups heading for the heli pad. So you just loook at this and form your own opinion. But it has been this way from the start. I've never seen any numbers of players like I did when D1 came out.Originally Posted by Shango_Agi Go to original post
The games are made for consoles for the reason that there is more money in in it due to the fact that the console players out number PC players plain and simple. There's no money to be made in PC only games. two factors caused me to move from PC to console. First was that games where improving so fast that nearly every time a new game came out at the time you needed to upgrade the machines to keep up with the games increasing demands for memory, graphics and better CPU's AND more and more of the games I wanted to play where coming out for console only. So i gave up the advantages of the PC so I could play what I want to play.Originally Posted by Cipri___ Go to original post
