Yesterday when I switched the game from Borderless Window to Fullscreen it worked like a charm, no issues. When I tried starting the game today it immediately minimized itself. When I tried tabbing back in, it remained for all but half a second before minimizing itself again. Hit Alt + Enter to put it into Windowed mode, no issues. Went into the game options, put it back into Fullscreen? Minimized immediately after, and keeps minimizing itself the moment I tab back into it.
Borderless Window works fine without any issues, so does any other game run in Fullscreen (tested with Rainbow Six Siege and Apex Legends). Verifying the game files did nothing, neither did restarting my PC.

Hey there!
Can you please consult the following link? If after doing so you're still having issues please attach your system files to a new or existing support case so we can try to identify the root cause of this issue.
Hey there!
Can you please - for the love of god - not tell me to open a support case? My past support cases have all been 'answered' with useless advice, ignoring the actual problem, and instead leading to two weeks of frustrating dialogue with some underpaid intern who's told to work through a checklist that covers nothing of the actual issue I'm having. You literally told me to check if my monitor is plugged in correctly. Perhaps, if you had read the first part of my post:
you would realize that the thing literally broke overnight, without me switching my system off, or making any changes to it. I know you guys just follow policie, referring to people to pages upon pages of FAQs. This is the reason I don't want to consult Ubisoft customer support. It's a joke. And not helpful, in the slightest.Yesterday when I switched the game from Borderless Window to Fullscreen it worked like a charm, no issues.
Hey,
From what I can find there could be a number of things causing this which seem pretty random. For example:

Are you able to see what programs are running in the background as well? Just to see if there are any conflicts
I switched from Fullscreen to Borderless then back to fullscreen, and there is a constant problem where it randomly tabs me out, it tried to restart my game but that did not work, same thing happens If I go into borderless, but I am still able to see the game because that is what happens when you are tabbed out on borderless, it shows it instead of hiding it
Hello sir. I have the same problem. It also does this one of my other games. I have tried: turning game mode off, updating driver's, closing background processes, tweaking Nvidia settings, uninstalling and reinstalling game drivers, re-installing the game, running in compatibility mode, overriding DPI settings.
My laptop is 4k, I noticed I have more success when I run the game at QHD, however it still has the times where it just will minimize on startup, or have no mouse cursor.
Like you, sometimes this problem seems to be fixed and then the next day it is there.
I do not have a program that tells me all of the drivers that need updating, so perhaps I missed some? This laptop is 3 months old so I doubt it. But who knows at this point.
Have you found a solution to your issue? Please let me know.
Vincenso.
Hey BlancoAmadeus,
Sorry to hear you're also experiencing this issue.
Please reach out to us via live chat, Twitter or Facebook with your system files so we can look into this for you.
So I see that this thread is from a while ago and the problem still persists. Low frame rates and force minimization of games. I'm having this issue in Wildlands, Breakpoint and Odyssey. Would love to know if Ubisoft has a plan to fix this along with the low FPS issues. I have other cases open and most recently submitted one a few hours ago regarding this issue. Below are my system specs, and just to move things along, my monitors are connected properly and no other games have these issues, just yours.Originally Posted by Ubi-Redbeard Go to original post
