Dear Ubisoft: As a solo player please fix...
Hi,
I am a 500 gear score casual player (1-2 hours most days), but I have a full time job and family so my playing time/amount varies each day, which is why I am clan-less (most clans want more reliability).
Based on this I value the ability to “jump” right into a game as I have little time to waste. It’s because of this I have the following suggestions which are seriously impacting my level of perceived reward from this game and is why I am debating leaving until these issues are fixed.
1- Please fix the cosmetic loot drop issue. I have not received a single cosmetic drop from a bag or luggage in over 2 weeks and this was one of the things I enjoyed, as I often change outfits. Currently I just get trinkets mainly from these items and the odd resource. This happened when I was leveling through the world theirs. This issue alone almost made me stop playing the game.
2- Fix the 500 Gear Score loot drops for solo players. In my opinion if your solo a challenging mission/control point should drop more (maybe 5-6 in 20?) 500 GS items ( I currently get roughly 1 - 500 item per 20-30 drops). I look forward to my field proficiency crates much more then drops, which is a shame. This is also very unrewarding.
3 - Enable match making for raids. The choice should be with the player to try this, not the developer, or is my $120 not worth as much as a hard core gamer? The purpose of raids is to push us and make us grind more for gear. Without the raid, poor 500 GS drops, cosmetic drop bugs and 515 GS likely close what reason do I have to play? Random blueprint drops? Time gated Exotics? Seriously? This also was a poor decision and is unrewarding.
On top of this your hardcore YouTube influencers are now spamming this raid content (which I get from their point of view), which runs salt in the wound for us unable to do this content.
4 - Fix the fact we get no specialization ammo at log in. This is a easy fix and regardless of workarounds is annoying and time consuming.
In summary: Focus on fixing what you currently offer in the game, rather then adding more broken content or those of us with limited time will find another game to play which also means taking our money from future Ubisoft titles as this seems to be the trend for most of your games.
Thank you for reading this!
