Skill Mods Gears Mods and Stash issues

This may come as both suggestion and bug report, but first i'd like to thank the dev team for caring our "small concerns" about organizing our backpacks and stash.

First the bug reports, gear mods are either not applied correctly or not "displayed" correctly in-game. I see other users have reported similar issues, but i'm just going to give more details. For example, some yellow gear mods (High-End) boosts general skill power as well as 2 other specific skills. Sometimes these numbers display accordingly when switching skill mods, but sometimes they do not display correctly. So, say if a gear mod has [+100 Skill Power / +40 Drone Skill / +55 Shield Skill], my backpack will say 100 Skill Power, and when i go to skill mod switching screen, it will display 140 Skill Power for Drone, but still 100 Skill Power for Shield. And yet, if i add a Shield mod that requires, say 150 Skill Power, it is active and not "greyed out", and i can see the increased stats from the skill mod. I think this is getting wordy so i will post a screenshot, but hopefully someone will get the idea.

    Skill Power inconsistence

In the screenshot, you will notice the Skill Power is 2008, yet the Hard Coating slot is active, which requires 2225 Skill Power. You will also notice that the Auxiliary Battery does not seem to work, as the skill power stays below the required amount for the Gyro slot. Speaking of Auxiliary Battery, i'm a bit baffled about why we can't make use of the FX slot, if it's simply for helping players match their gear scores with their skill mods. It just sounds counter-intuitive, i mean why would you give up one of the skill attributes for the sake of using higher score skill mods?? For all i know, i've run into many "low score" mods (like purple ones) that offer stronger effects than "high score" mods (like yellow ones).

Now the real big issues with organizing our backpack ... and stash ...
I have to really thank whoever had the nerve to get it done, and i'm talking about "Sort By" function. It used to be set to Default every time i join a group or log in, and whatever category Inventory had was carried over to Stash, but now it seems this Sort By stays same almost all the time. If you don't understand what i'm talking about, that's perfectly good, because it is tedious and trivial to even explain about it.

Anyhow, now my issue with the organizing is picking up new gears. For some reason, hovering over new items removes the exclamation icon, and this makes things more difficult for me to track down which item is new or recent. In the past, the exclamation icon stay until i click with the mouse, and i would really appreciate if the dev team can change this back. And then when modifying new items, selecting a camo prompts a message about not being able to share any more, and this is a bit annoying when it asks EVERY item i try to pick a camo. At least put an option to "Do Not Ask Me Again for the Next 24 Hours", if you guys don't mind.

Now, in the backpack, they give us separate space for Gear Mods and Skill Mods (100 total), but in the Stash, these mods are treated like weapons and gears. In other words, we can keep 200 items in the backpack, but 150 in the Stash, so either increasing the overall Stash capacity to 200 or creating a separate Mods space in the Stash would greatly help us organizing our junks.

The last thing i would request for now is weapon and skill mod categories. This is not new at all, as you will witness in the Crafting Bench and Recalibration Desk, there are categories for the weapons, like Assault Rifles / Submachine Guns / Rifle / Marksman Rifle. Strangely enough, these categories are not present in our backpack. I'm really puzzled by this revelation. Having these weapon categories in our backpack will REALLY help us in both mid-combat and after-combat organization. Another strange revelation is Skill Type categories, which are present in the backpack's Mods section, but NOT PRESENT in the Stash. Once again, why available in one side, but not the other? Can you please make these categories available EVERYWHERE??

I know better than anybody else i'm getting way too wordy about these "little things" like a nagging grandma, and i honestly don't like spending my energy into writing about these issues, but it's already 2 months past release date, and i can't be the only player going through this junk-organizing nightmare, so i'm finally speaking up. Please please consider these issues here and improvements for all of us. Thank you very much for even thinking about reading my rambling today

Hey stArTHeeF__212! Thank you so much for your detailed post.

I have reported the Shield Skill Power issue to the TD2 team previously. Are you only having this issue when adding Shield Skill Power?

For some reason, hovering over new items removes the exclamation icon, and this makes things more difficult for me to track down which item is new or recent.
I have reported this to the TD2 team as well!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will pass this on to the TD2 team.

Having these weapon categories in our backpack will REALLY help us in both mid-combat and after-combat organization.
I thought you could Sort By Weapon Type? I believe I've previously done this, but I had to select it each time I checked my backpack. I may be mistaken on what you are talking about though.

Yes you can sort by Weapon Type but what the OP is suggesting is a better solution and that is to have separate categories in the inventory view as you do in the crafting table etc. Just as the chest, knees, gloves etc. all have their own category, it would be good to have SMG, AR, LMG etc. - Would certainly make finding your fave LMG easier when the AR runs out of ammo in the middle of a fight..

    Good post.
