Gunship shooting bug. Non existent bullets. | Forums

Hey guys, this has happened to me twice now. Both times it has been in the same chopper, which is the large gray gunship with miniguns high up each wing and the two passenger miniguns out each side. I have a feeling it happened with the little bird gunship too but Im not 100% sure.

The issue is, when you fire the guns at a target, the animation of the guns firing takes place, but the bullets dont exist. Nothing actually hits the target. I was firing on some SB guys in a stationary jeep and nothing was hitting. I didnt miss my target as even when you do, you can see the bullets hit the ground or surrounding area etc, there was absolutely nothing.

I fixed this by landing the chopper and then getting back into it again. Obviously this isnt always possible if you are in the thick of a battle.

Are you saying that you can hear the bullets firing but nothing happens in-game or that the bullets come out of the ship, but do not do any damage when they hit a target?

Can you provide any video footage of this happening?

Hi, yeah I can hear them firing, and I can see them coming out of the ship, but they never hit anything. Its as if the bullets are made of thin air, if that makes sense. I get no hit markers or anything.

What would be the easiest way to record a video?
