using intentionally deceptive wording is even more of a slap in the face than the actual lie
i wouldnt go that route if i was them.
*i would just use it as an occasion to show good will, fix my mistake, and all that fiasco would have done is generating attention/free publicity.
that's the route i'm hoping they go for ; morph the mistake into a decent PR move. (all the articles that talked about it will have to mention it's been corrected and thats a second wave of visibility - and then they can drop their cheesy "we listened!" line)

Also note that Hello Games completely redeemed themselves by supporting their game for the past four years and turning it into one of the greatest games ever. Something that will never happen here unless major changes are made in Ubi/Massive.
