I agree with you there. My riffle build was unplayable, they did something to the rate of fire even though the numbers stayed the same. DPS went wayy down that really annoyed me since that was my main build since the release of the game.Originally Posted by Butcher851 Go to original post
Ideally the raid should have been released at least a week after the patch. There is plenty of not to like about their recent patching and the raid. I still like the game though but it is in a lot worse state than what it was at release, not sure what prompted all the "balance" changes.
Probably no recoilscript..Originally Posted by I 2phast I Go to original post
Im mean pc players can obviously counter recoil but most i see are shooting lasers with everything..
I would just like to know how many people have started the raid with an 8 men team on console.
We are not used to not have MM, also because our systems are generally closed to other platforms, while with PC it's easier to squad up in a couple of clicks with instruments such as discord.
BTW, I find quite stupid that you seem to be forced to stack damage and dte to have a chance. A very specialized build, but not focused on DTE or weapon damage should have its role on a raid.
This from Push. Ive read a number of online articles and they all say the same can't be done on console!
The Division 2 got its long awaited eight-player raid yesterday, and it's incredibly difficult. Now, a sturdy challenge can be a good thing in a team-based title like this -- it can provide veteran players with a great opportunity to really strut their stuff -- but the general consensus seems to be that this mission is just far too hard for its own good. At least, on consoles.
Here's the rub: we all know that aiming with a controller is never going to be as accurate as aiming with a mouse and keyboard, and that appears to be one of the raid's biggest problems on PlayStation 4. As of right now, you and your whole team -- eight players, remember -- need to be near perfect with every single shot, particularly when it comes to downing the activity's supremely beefy bosses.

Even with your damage per second cranked to maximum, if you're not killing your targets with pinpoint precision, you're likely going to get overrun and taken out. Numerous posts over on the game's Reddit suggest that even the most prepared squads are finding it borderline impossible to get past the raid's first boss.
This has, of course, led to accusations that developer Massive Entertainment isn't properly balancing the game for console players. Naturally, this ties into the recent news that The Division 2 didn't meet Ubisoft's sales expectations, particularly on consoles. Put all of this together, and you've got the recipe for some angry posts on forums and social media.
Hopefully Massive can work something out and tweak the raid sooner rather than later. Until then, though, make sure you don't run out of ammo in the comments section below.
To be fair, the recoil in this game almost non-existent and extremely easy to control with a mouse. I don't use any stability mods at all and my P416 is a laser.Originally Posted by enterBrainer Go to original post
Aim assist is hopeless on D2. I actually want to shoot where I want too, not at something the assist is trying too. Put that on and the aiming cursor goes all over the shop.Originally Posted by Kreahk Go to original post
Yes we can control the recoil a bit but it has to be very slight movements on the analog right stick, not just one way almost like you are trying to balance it by moving your thumb around. Hard to explain.
Put it this way if just aim and fire my LMG without using the right analog stick the aiming cursor just goes off up the screen so I'm shooting the sky, it moves all over the place.
I have started 4 raids, all were 8 players apart from the first one which was 7. Last one was with a clan I joined and the Boomer part is just frustrating currently. Best we did was get half his armour down but then objective failed came up on the screen, not sure why this is, maybe he destroyed a mounted gun???? as he was on the platform at the time.Originally Posted by ogamega Go to original post
We just cant get enough damage into him it seems before he wrecks something by the looks of it, we aren't dying, the objective is failing.
