Its interesting, when things go well, they are here to help, assist and take part of the discussions.
When things get heated (like now), they just go completely silent.
The best thing to do is just pretend like it's not there and it will go away.
Great support Ubi!
Thats a PR thing btw, its not just massive. There is probably a PR team right now, working with or fighting with the devs to try and get a good response out. Whether that is MM coming later or for a different response all together doesnt really matter. What matters is that it will go through legal and legal is....very slow to be nice about it.Originally Posted by RobotsAreHere Go to original post
What are you talking about? The devs on stream for the Raid even confirmed that eventually MM or another viable solution is coming. And they lead off with that statement. So I don't know what you mean.Originally Posted by RobotsAreHere Go to original post
it's like when your wife is angry, the only logical course of action is to let the dust settle and ignore it for a bit.
she's right to be angry since you lied to her, but what are you gonna do about it while shes pissed, heh.
the only way they can fix this is by respecting their promise and coming up with a matchmaker for the raid.
nothing else would do it.
From the stream they are talking about adding better options for how you find players but they are saying no to straight up matchmaking. They are giving a general 'we are listening' response, while at the same time saying NO. So not really totally silent.
However it is also interesting that the usual YouTubers who jump at the chance to stick it to AAA publishers are also silent on it.
Are they replying on this, their own, forums?Originally Posted by Raider025 Go to original post
Nothing new. There's always been total radio silence from CMs after a controversial announcement like this happens.Originally Posted by RobotsAreHere Go to original post
