    and this

"You do not need a full party of eight to begin the raid, but the overall difficulty will not scale according to how many players are present. Dark Hours is always scaled for eight players.""

And trust me, if they cared about ideals in what they believe are best user experiences when it comes to gaming and not simply what they think is good for business, they wouldn't have added a season pass or micro-transactions for cosmetics.

Relax. They will not withhold matchmaking for Raids.
Literally no sense is what this Dev team does.

I didn't think companies enjoyed torpedoing their own game but the devs proved me wrong.

It seems almost every week there is something people are complaining about on this game without having all the facts or thinking it out. Oh, I also forgot there was that time people said that the game not being on Steam would end it too.

My point is that people come here and say the sky is falling all the time. After a few or so many times of it, I get kind of apathetic to it. I can't be the only one.

I love this game, but I'm in a clan that has 50 people, but only like 3 active. I've only been playing the last few days/weeks to keep trying to get slightly better stuff for the raid. I can't really do it now without jumping through hopes. There are plenty of other games I want to check out. So why would I stay here? I'm definitely not alone in this type of situation.

The problem is the people "white knights" you are all in clans that are active and always do stuff in your clans for the most part and won't really notice any difference since you didn't care about the number of people playing. However, when 85% of your playerbase to a point is locked out of something to this point they leave. When hardly anybody is playing they stop supporting it to the same level.

This is a really poor decision by the Devs.
I am in a clan with 7 likely young teenagers. I joined because a friend invited me and I am too nice to really ever leave it. I have solo'd most missions and content across my 4 characters. Most of my clan-mates haven't been on in ages.

Fortunately, I still have a few friends from Div 1 and they are daily players. I often join other people and respond to requests for back up when I get bored of playing alone. I often do missions with people from other clans, when I want to do them in a group.

So yeah, I know the feeling of concern. I am just not as worried about it. I have spent 330 hrs+ in the game so far and still haven't done everything, gotten every exotic, or accomplished everything I want to do.

The reason that I am not that upset is that this gives me more of an excuse to do all of those other things that I have not yet done.

Still, I don't think that a lot of you have grasped that this raid is intended to be a whole different experience. 8 solo players trying to grind this thing is probably not going to work. You are going to have coordination, strategy and planning to take this thing on. I doubt this is the kind of mission that you can just slap together 8 random strangers all running extra damage to elites and hope for the best. I am pretty sure that was why they opted for no MM.

96% of players will move on right to another game lol.

No, I'm betting that is exactly like what it will be.

You can probably easily complete it with five.

I doubt if there will be any mechanics whatsoever, they just throw a lot of elites at you over and over followed by a big boss.

It won't be like running a raid in WOW where you need a bunch of people to do different mechanics all at the same time or something.

No, no, no, no. You need to trust the developers, this content will simply be too hard. And you can take it from them, developers are some of the absolute BEST gamers out there. So remember, if they find it difficult, you can trust it will be damn near impossible for your mere 'average' gamer. /s
