I mean it requires a little more work from the player, I also think that 3rd party sites like this are the work of lazy people who don't want to be social, and hope that they enforce rules on people like this.

Yes it requires more work to go on a third party site to find raiders. It's a waste of time and not fun. Thus the majority of player will not do the raid.
Now the majority of people will either leave the game or not play with others become more antisocial. Think before you post.

can't people use Discord to LFG for the raid? or is something happening on that platform that I'm not aware of recently? ( I belong to a bunch of channels but i don't really use it much atm )

Bingo. This is a good thing for the game, and even if these people quit. It won't matter to the community since they don't want to be part of it anyway.

I’m outta the game too. I was a huge D1 fan. I never would have bought D2 if they straight up told the truth about no matchmaking for raids.

I would venture to say that most of us who buy our own toys don’t have the time to coordinate playing schedules with 7 other players like in, you know, grade school?

This is just Silly. We got tons of other content, and builds to farm. you don't need raids.

But people will throw hissy fits to get their way. In the long run Raids being clan only won't matter.

Its not about that. Its about being told one thing and getting another. Its about bait and switch. How many people paid for the year pass yesterday and then found out today the main content is no longer available to them. Thats why they didnt announce it before hand.
