Whatever reason the devs had for making this decision doesn't really matter. All that matters is that it is now 100% undeniable that the devs are clueless, incompetent liars that killed their game within 3 months of launch

Yeah. That's why I don't go and watch people play games. I damn sure not paying people to sit at home and play games.

You mark my words, you’ll see matchmaking in the raid next week, after the 4 day streamer event is over.
But who cares....people are going to watch the streamers, and the streamers in good clans were going to run in premades anyway and finish before random groups anyway. So all you're doing is pissing off your players that want to go through MM>

To those who think this is all a big conspiracy by massive to let the streamers gain an advantage.

Do you think that Method got world first in the most recent WoW raid because there is no matchmaking system for mythic raiding in WoW? Of bloody course not, that would be an absurdly ridiculous claim to make. They got world first because they are pro gamers who play the game literally all day every day, of course they will beat it before folks who's jobs aren't playing the game. Same thing here, the full time gamers are always going to be the ones who beat it first.

Stop foaming at the mouth for a few seconds and think about it. Do you really think that a random group of PUGs would actually get world first on the raid!? Do you seriously think it's the lack of MM in the game that will let streamers complete it first? Surely the fact that streamers can play 24/7 and have perfectly min/maxed builds and will be teaming up with other full time gamers, who also have damn near perfect builds, and will be on voice communicating and working together to beat it as fast as possible will have no effect right? No it's because there's no MM.

For crying out loud think before you make yourself look foolish.

For the record, I think they should add in a MM for the raid. But thinking that they kept it out because of some conspiracy with streamers so they can beat it first is simply ridiculous, streamers where always going to beat it first.
There are pro gamers who aren’t streamers btw. But if 8 randoms beat the raid first they don’t count, only streamers do and only Twitch streamers. So yes this not including matchmaking is certainly a kick in the teeth for everyone and really a streamer who cared about their community wouldn’t participate in this event. Btw, streamers are nothing without a community, just like a game is nothing without players. Streamers will do the raid and go back to their other games, D2 will be dead in a week.

There really was no reason to continue with The State of the Game once they said no match making.. I turned it off right then, which I am sure many others did as well.. just a shame how bad Massive is.

    For this game? Not really....

To be a pro gamer, by definition, means you play this game as your job.. your profession. No one but full time streamers or youtubers are making a living playing Division 2... there aren't any pro teams paying their players salaries like there are for other games.

disagree. I solo myself to Platium 2 in Rainbow 6 (Only to be match up constantly with cheater has lazer accuracy gun without aimdownsight and pakinson aimbot) and stay in diamond almost every season in Overwatch so i pretty much can consider myself a pro in these game.
