just keep in mind that streamers find new games if the game loses popularity.Originally Posted by Deekon123 Go to original post
me and you are jsut as important as the streamer if you think about it.
Wow. That’s a bunch of ********. **** you Massive.Originally Posted by WickedBadz Go to original post
This is some tinfoil hat, eating catfood in the basement level of conspiracy theory lmao.
Stop foaming at the mouth for a few seconds and think about it. Do you really think that a random group of PUGs would actually get world first on the raid!? Do you seriously think it's the lack of MM in the game that will let streamers complete it first? Surely the fact that streamers can play 24/7 and have perfectly min/maxed builds and will be teaming up with other full time gamers, who also have damn near perfect builds, and will be on voice communicating and working together to beat it as fast as possible will have no effect right? No it's because there's no MM.
For crying out loud think before you make yourself look foolish.
For the record, I think they should add in a MM for the raid. But thinking that they kept it out because of some conspiracy with streamers so they can beat it first is simply ridiculous, streamers where always going to beat it first.
All the more reason to cater to the streamers. If they find it entertaining, usually their "fans" will as well. There is a reason games with huge content droughts stay popular (warframe as example) its because they cater extremely heavily to their content makers.Originally Posted by teksuo1 Go to original post
I was going to say this too, it’s silly on its face to think for even a second that some random group of people matchmake and beat a dedicated team of “pro ish” or pro gamers.Originally Posted by Krombopuluos Go to original post
A conspiracy? More like facts.....most of these streamers rarely play the game but all of a sudden there’s money involved so they swarm....butter calls D2 garbage, marco said it’s boring.....but for $$ they all of a sudden enjoy it

AS would any of us. Money talks, it doesnt make them bad at the game. There is no way in the cold regions of hell that a PUG beats out a full built pro gamer team. It doesnt happen because money is involved for them. They have a reason to push it beyond just a game.Originally Posted by WickedBadz Go to original post
Unless, of course, the PUG is composed of "pro gamers".Originally Posted by Deekon123 Go to original post
Yes it is a fact that the streamer promotion is happening, that is not what I am referring to. That's just marketing, pretty much every big game does similar promotions with content creators.A conspiracy? More like facts
It's the idea that massive left out a MM system because of this promotion to give streamers a head start that is the conspiracy theory. And not a very well thought out one at that.
