I'm in the same situation. Only 2 - 3 clan memebers are online at the same time. My friend list on ps4 is very short.
And the suggestion to use 3rd party sites to group up is a crappy idea. Why should I do this?
I bought the game from UBI Soft for PS4 ... so THEY have to secure that I can play all game instances and not a site outside the game.

Same here, Raid seem to be locked away for solo players. It feels like they force players to get in clans, or that clans are getting made. But then I will only try to get the mission story done and remove the game, because DZ was never my place to go and do not own the season pass. I learned my lesson from Div 1 when bought full stack and ran in problem on problem and a DZ overrun with cheaters and rogues. Hoped Div 2 would not get in that road, because also the dev learn, but seem like it is going the same road for now.

I read in News & Announcements and there state the following:
"GROUPING
Two sub-groups, each containing traditional four player parties, embody the entire raid team for a total of eight players. The player who creates the raid group from the social menu is the designated raid leader, and as such, is the only player who can begin the raid.
REQUIREMENTS
To participate in Dark Hours, players need to be level 30, have reached World Tier 5 and Gear Score 490. You do not need a full party of eight to begin the raid, but the overall difficulty will not scale according to how many players are present. Dark Hours is always scaled for eight players."
Nowhere says you must do it with your clan members. You can group in Matchmaking... It says will be always scaled for 8 players, but you can start the mission solo or even with less than 8 if you wish.

Missed that news, but still. On the way the game is now I will never get to world tier 5 because of bugs and Delta errors. So will take to long for me to get there and I am not a person to run around for resources and XP to get on that point. Guess if I get to tier 5, this game will be a ghost town.

Which platform are you in? I am on PS4 on the European server and didnt face the DELTA error more than a handful of times. Related to the bugs, i suffered the Henry Hayes bug, which solved long time ago starting a new character (which was really helpfull to get all the commendations before jumping to WT1). Also i usually dont have problems matchmaking, except for yesterday but it was because i figure i went into a low level server (i entered a safe house and everybody was level 10-12), so i log out and log in again, problem solved.
Of course i agree the game should have more improvement and some gameplay bugs are very annoying, but nothing game breaking (at least for me)
