Purple Rain..! Please let this just be bad rng.

I have notice a distinct uptick in the rate that Superior/Purples that are dropping. After an hour of play I am averaging 50% purples, this feels like a significant increase from what it was before patch 3.0, which was around 20%. I hope its just me and this purple rain isn't working as intended (well to be fair given the context of that reference lets call it light rain).

Just thought I would give a heads up in-case anyone else is experiencing this and is chalking it up to rng.

    Anyone else seeing unusual results..?

I too have noticed a preponderance of purple items dropping when I played yesterday. I would even go so far as to say my purple drop rate was greater than 50%. I'm in WT5 with GS of 496 (previously 509).

Purples are good for recal attributes so not all bad... the problem I am having with drops is they aren't being flagged in inventory as new items (consistently).

The ratio of purple drops has always been bad....but last night was the worse I have seen. Where it used to seem like a 50/50 chance a drop or box item would be purple now its more like 90% chance. And to add insult to injury the 10% high ends are 90% as useless as being a purple in terms of being an upgrade or useful for recal.

And I cannot recall the last time a purple item dropped that had any attribute with significant amount that it was worth keeping for recal.

As far as I can tell they are completely worthless. Capped on mats so not worth to deconstruct....I just vendor to amass more currency that is virtually useless.
