Well, I knew this time was coming, but I am done with Div 1.
No exaggeration, 44 of the last 46 players I came across in the DZ were hacking; rpm hack + aimbot + classy Pred being the favorite. I also had some engage me and I ran around a van for a second's cover to heal, come back out and they're totally gone. Even my pulse can't pick them up.
All that's left in the game is major newbie players who got it on the last fire sale, and the cheaters, who seem to be more brazen than ever - I guess because they assume Ubi doesn't give a hoot about D1 any more and isn't monitoring? I was last on about 10 days ago, and some guy is doing the instant kill on me (with an SMG) across two rooftops and streets; roughly 1,500 in-game feet. I can barely see his flag and definitely not his character, and bam, I am down with one shot, registered as killed by The House, which cannot even shoot that far. I report him and nothing. Tonight I go in first time since then just for 10 minutes and the first player I come across is some guy with aimbot and rpm hack. One "brap" on his LVOA-C and he rips through two Nomad procs and my recovery link and I am down.
Since I am worn out on all the PvE stuff and am just not interested in any more missions or incursions, and the DZ requires multiple hacks just as the price of admission now, AND the traffic on this forum is almost nil any more, I am calling it quits after 38 months. I have 3 or 4 other good games that I've barely played, and with decent weather finally here now my play time is dropping to almost nothing anyway, so I am signing out.
Happy gaming (to anyone left here)! (lol)
I agree with u. I'm a newbie in this game but I did the pve missions solo or with a friend. I want to do the incursions but are very hard to be made solo or with a friend when the builds isn't all maximized DZ is like u said. I only go there for farm and loot techdivision for improve the gear, but when I see a rogue I'm done...most of them are cheating and so is very unbalanced. I don't know how it is with D2 but sooner or later cheaters will command the game. Ubisoft don't care.
The cheating is getting worse, had a 550 com score player kill me and my 2 teammates earlier who wouldn't take no damage several times when unloading a clip into him. Who later returned with his one shot sticky nomad friend, who too had trouble with his health dropping 🤐 I'm dreading when the poisonous rpm plague hits the European servers over here, I'll end up kicking the Xbox through the TV ! Good luck sockmonkey, hopefully we'll see you on the forums again someday somewhere 👍Originally Posted by Sock_Monkey Go to original post
There, I fixed it for you.Originally Posted by Sock_Monkey Go to original post![]()
Sock, give up on the 'dark' side and come over to the LZ side. There's lots of fun still to be had there. I can't hardly find anyone to run legendaries with anymore; at least that know what they are doing (or at least try).
@PT_Frizzer: Don't bother with the DZ to get Div Tech. Log in every night for a bit and do daily missions. I usually only do the crafting and combat each night on all 4 characters. Each daily is 25 Div Tech. So, that means I get 200 Div Tech every day. The time it takes varies from 20 minutes (for all 4) to an hour at the longest. If I want to play on, then I'll do a Survival run to get those caches too. Doing this, I have now finished optimizing 3 of my 4 characters (with all 14 classy gear sets each plus weapons optimized).
If/when they ever do GE's again, that is another very good way to get Div Tech. If you buy the $3k caches, you get a varying amount of Div Tech from each one. Also, if you are flush with crafting materials, exotics break down 1:1 to Div Tech. So, craft the exotic Damascus pistol and break it down repeatedly and you'll get one for each. Also, gear items like holster, backpack, etc. break down to a roughly 1:5 (~20%) so since I am ALWAYS maxed out on fabric and electronics, I do that every so often too. In fact, I recorded a macro of myself doing that. Anytime I hop up to go to the bathroom, fix a sandwich, etc I start it running.
Personally, I despise the DZ. If the whole game was like that, I wouldn't have played very long at all. However, since I have all but ignored it (except for the SHIELD's), I have now got 2300 hours in the game and still counting. I only have ~16 hours in TD2...
Sorry bud, Massive/Ubi’s refusal (or inability) to fix the NPC grenade pre-stagger turned me off to Legendaries years ago. It probably pisses me off more than cheaters every time I hear an LMB grenadier launch and my character forcibly pops up and out of cover, taking it right in the face.Originally Posted by Bambihunter1971 Go to original post
At least with cheaters I can think to myself “Yeah, people suck” but this is freaking code and should have never made it to release.
For this GE's commendations, all I am lacking is running Dragon's Nest repeatedly (no down, shotgun only, tech wing skills only). I will be on every weekday evening from ~6:30pm CST and play to 10:30 or so. The weekend I will play a lot I hope, but we have family coming into town so it might be more limited than I wished it was during the GE's. I'm on PC. Add me if you want to run these together. I have completed all these with my original account, but re-running them on my 2nd account. Unfortunately, I don't have a Nomad set yet for it so the Tech Wing only one will be tough for me but I can always grab my main account if needed to boost the rest of the group through. It has a great reclaimer build that makes it a breeze (except for the Tech Wing only commendation).Originally Posted by echolecter Go to original post
