I’m having a lot of troubles trying to defend myself against the new heroine. The Japanese one with the axe. She does like a infinite heavy combo that I cannot scape.

The other big problem is that we attack at the same time but my light is stopped by her attacks. How are they so fast? Faster that orochi's lights?

Maybe is that I have bad connection so I’m slower? Because I’m always trading lights against her lights (with other characters too happen the same), and of course, I dye first.

Just to know if it is my internet or something.

Her lights are 500ms, like almost all lights in the game, if you trying to trade of course she will hit you first because you have hitstun from heavy and her light starts before you can do it.

yeah the light of the new hero is 2x faster than orochi, my main is orochi and my light are slower

its not true, even i cant block his light very well, while orochi i can defend very well =)

I only try to cut the combo because sometimes I cannot even block it so I try to stop it with a simple light. But yeah, she hit me first ☹️

She is a trader, that's kind of her thing. Are you an Orochi main or were just using that as an example of a light that should be faster? Perhaps people could offer hero-specific advice on how to deal with Hitokiri's pressure.

I suppose you are right with the trading thing for the character.

I only play with orochi since the beta, never changed :P

I can understand and live with the trade but please! Ask the team if they can recheck deflects!

Ironically I can deflect the ones from the top, but the side attacks are imposible so I cannot stop her chains (Maybe With parries but... I love deflects too much).

Over abundance of HA is going to bring back the turtle meta if they aren't careful, I already feel like I can't attack zerker and Hitokiro without a parry or bash, Raider is pretty much in the same boat too now.
