And ice caps growing or receding isn't as much a function of how cold the winters are, as how warm the summers are, get a crap summer and not as much melts as usual.
It's colder summers that bring on ice ages, not colder winters, so with warmer summers the ice caps will shrink.
As for CO2, what about all those damned beef cattle farting Methane into the atmosphere, a far more powerful greenhouse gas, beware, Mr. Gore will take away your burgers, and make you become vegetarians..........

wasnt the gw crowd telling us that the ice was going to totally melt at the noth pole this year.

i guess THEIR psuedo science didnt take sunspots into account either.

LOL no they didnt. I seem to remember reading some IPCC documents on the effects the sun spots would have and there were plenty of news reports on it back at the start of 2008 on the BBC. Your bullsh1t news sources are the problem here. Is this the best you can do, gimme a break.

home & residential users need to cut down on Co2 ?

the greens in politics know how hard it is to curb industry , so they go after ordinary citizens instead

    LOL yes they did.

it was clearly stated that gw scientists were predicting the north pole would be ice free this year and not a bloody word about sunspots.

this is what national geographic had to say,, or are they a bs news source to,, haha.

    http://news.nationalgeographic...0620-north-pole.html

is that the best you can do to try to worm out of it,,, gimme a break.

The thing that gw skeptics can't argue with is ocean acidification. Saying that CO2 in the atmosphere isn't leading to a change in pH is basically saying that chemistry is bogus....

Far scarier and far less easy to dismiss as psuedoscience.

ocean acidification is not a prediction , & its not a new claim

the worry is that CO2 uptake is slowing because the ocean is reaching a limit on the amount of CO2 it can absorb . the direct result of having too much CO2 in the system is that entire oceans are becoming more acidic

coral reefs in the water are the tunnel canary , as glacier's are above ground
