I've just downloaded GRW for the first time, when I try and play (continue campaign) it will either take me to character customisation and then not let me continue past (also, you can select customisation options but they never actually appear on character, just forever loading) or I get shown the game loading screen (with tips and such in the bottom corner and music playing) it gets to 99% usually within 5 mins or so, then never progresses past that.
I've looked at a number of YouTube videos and forums etc, in attempt to resolve this issue, but I'm not very pc savvy yet; and don't understand a lot of the more in-depth stuff like file placement or anything.
My specs should be able to handle the game fine (using Razer Advanced laptop and it plays everything else I've ever downloaded on it at max settings.
Any help from people who have had/resolved this issue before, or Ubisoft support would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if it helps, I think the game never actually shuts down after I close it, It will continue to play music even when closed or if I open a different application, and in this state I can't reopen GRW, this persists until I shutdown and reboot pc.

Hey there PLAYERofG4MES, welcome to the forums!
I'm sorry that the game is not loading correctly. I would strongly recommend going through each step in this FAQ.
It covers a lot of steps that resolve the majority of loading/crash issues. It's pretty in depth but it does guide you through everything.

Thank you very much, honestly wasn't counting on such a quick response.
Followed the FAQ and fixed the problem very easily, game is running fine now.
