    Non-Lethal

While I'm out and about in this game searching for resources, gear or mission-related objectives, I usually come across some of the faction's members doing the same thing as I'm doing. Usually, they're in small groups which is not an issue. It's when I face that one individual alone that I have an issue with. I do my best just to "Melee" them hoping that I can just knock them out but it never works and I need to eliminate the individual. It never sits right with me that I need to eliminate, (See how hard I'm staying away from the word Kill) these guys/gals instead of simply putting them to sleep. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know it's just a "Game". But when I play I like to at least employ a little reality into the game. I never fire unless I'm fired on. (I get killed a lot doing that) I avoid getting into a "Firefight" unless it's necessary. I just think it would be GREAT if some dev came up with the feature I'm speaking of. Most likely that will never happen and that's a damn shame.

That doesn't seem realistic. Your enemies are essentially terrorist groups and literally psychopaths, why would you need to wait for them to fire before you do?

I get that you want options.. unfortunately I don't think this is that game. This isn't fable. It's the end of the modern world type of situation.. these groups want to "rebuild" the foundation of society. get revenge.. or simply cause chaos.

They have goals.. and for the most part that means destabilizing the city at all cost.. killing, blowing sh!t up, I mean.... they actually released a chemical into society that killed millions...

Idk if you're aware... But you're a division agent. You work for someone. That someone told you to kill anything that moves that shows up red...if you don't do that. You're not doing your job.

If you don't do you job in real life. You get fired.

Do you want to get fired?

Get it together agent. We're trying to "save" what little we have left of society. It's not my job to determine if that means we're the good guys or the bad guys..(sometimes I question this).. so go out and take whats left... Destroy those that stand in the way of freedom..

    Oh and... Murica!!

    Exactly.

You are here to do a job, kill the enemy, that is all.

This isn't a fantasy world you were dropped into it's a place where people are trying to kill you and other innocents and you must kill them or they will never stop.

When you let one live they simply get up and go kill an innocent person so that blood is on your hands.

In the DIvision 1, it was made very clear from the beginning that Marshall Law was in effect.

Non-Lethal doesn't exist in the Divisions universe...survival law is in full effect.

No, you all don't seem to understand. "Real Life" situation if it came to this game, I would always take the non-lethal option. Why you may ask. To turn them. Get them on "OUR" side. Learn more about them. Killing in the field is simplistic. That takes no talent at all. All you need are Trigger Pullers. If there is something that separates The Division from the rest it's going to take more than having advance combat experience in trigger pulling. You need to think, adapt, improvise. That takes TALENT. Talent Wins the War. Think about it for a while before you interject a knee jerk response like a trigger puller.

On a pragmatic level, I don't want new features put into this game until they can get right the features they have put in. At this point, most of the game is kinda fubar or not implemented.

I agree, there's things that need "fixing" but your idea of fubar is my idea of just not fully optimized and tweaks needing to be made.

Over all the game as a whole "works". Anyone who has more than 50-60 hours and has completed the core missions and story elements (I'm approaching 120 myself) is proof that it "works".. we then have our own opinions as to what we think "works"
