I honestly am kind of done with For Honor, I never really complained about charachters until centurion was added complained about characters being op but even then I just learned how to play lol and started destroying cents. But, wu lin, vortiger and sakura and (to a lesser extent) aramusha.are just overpowered. Who would win, 1. (Shaolin) A shaolin monk dressed in rags with a bo staff or 2.(Lawbringer) a knight that wears full body plate armour with mail underneath and in their own words he uses "The poleaxe is one of the most versatile weapons ever made". But hey, that's not my only gripe, not even the main one. I think it's funny that black prior can use Bulwark stance on Shugoki (lift him up and flip him over with his shield) yet raider can't even Stampede Charge Shugoki, in act Shugoki doesn't even get phased. But hey It's not like for some reason the new charachters (and primarily heavies) have insanely fast and quite attacks. I don't think you can say with a straight face that raiders top heavy which does 45 damage is comparable to Jiang Jun's which does 37 and is extremely fast for being a heavy. I, and many other people have noticed the new charachter's wierd timings and fast speeds that just do unproportionally more damage than the other (older) charachters. Even the new Tier 4 feat of Sakura which is just a top heavy to be honest is an UNBLOCKABLE attack that literally one shots your character. I could go on for days about how broken the new characters are and just aren't fun to fight. Just like with the Wu-Lin if you get killed against one you don't even know what you did wrong (especially with casuals) and it just leaves you frustrated. Plus, for casuals it's not fun, I've had times where I've just been watching a movie on the side and boosting the point when 3 sakuras come, movie gets paused and I don't even have a chance to pull out revenge. It used to be so much simpler, and realistic to a certain extent now it's all just a joke. No realism anymore and no balance. Mostly no balance.
Hitokiri is not even remotely broken. She has one of the simplest movesets in the entire game. The only thing she has up her sleeve is her variable timing and thats literally it. There are PLENTY of legitimately broken things in this game, but Hitokiri is not one of them.
Also I have no idea what game you are playing, but Raider can absolutely charge Shugokki into a wall just like anyone else. I literally just tested it myself in the training arena.
Oh and you are VASTLY underestimating the amount of damage a a trained Bo Staff user can do in a fight.
lol you don't have to link me to Skallagrim video to say something mate, I'm aware of the damage a Bo Staff can do, and am saying, from a realistic standpoint, I don't think you can say a knight full covered in armour with chain-mail underneath and some leather just to finish it off and a poleaxe, not only is the bo staff a wooden stick (that yes can do some damage) honestly wouldn't come close to mortally wounding a combatant such as lawbringer, especially if the bo staff user isn't wearing any armour himself. And the video you linked is a Bo Staff vs a SWORD. Some poleaxes easily outreach a Bo staff and are more fatal due to them having a metal spike at the end of them. As for raider from what I recall he could Not charge Shugoki but things may have changed after the raider buff that I wasn't aware of. Hitokiri is broken, having insane damage values and his attacks being basically silent. Also, he and his female counterpart are a bit too quick. Most of the time even I can't even parry them, they seem to be pretty finicky (mind you on a good day I can parry a storm rush and a zone of a high rep Orochi). I assume you're a Hitokiri user yourself lol since you jsut don't look at what's being presented. I predict the devs will nerf the new charachters soon after seeing the data themselves (i.e hundreds of rep 1 Hitokiris getting 21 takedown dominion games).

Its not like medieval helmets were heavily padded football helmets. And even if I was wrong it still wouldn't matter because what you are complaining about here is ridiculous.
And no I am a Beserker/Shaman main. I got Hitokiri to rank 1 just so I could say that I did and she is NOT OP. She has an extremely simple kit with almost not variatiopns or twists. Lieterally all she has is her timing, her feints and her kicks. Thats literally it. And if you have problems fighting someone that has such a simple moveset then idk what to tell you really.
She may end u getting tweaked a little but she is not gonna get the nerf bat like previous characters have gotten because she doesn't need it.
Hey man, would you mind if you stay still with no armor on your head like a shaolin does, while i do an overhead attack with as much force as i can with a steel poleaxe?Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
Jesus who cares if it's not realistic. Nobody wants a game with a bunch of master chiefs running around with the same sword.
The ways people play games isn't realistic.
If you really want realism we'd be gun down by arrow fire or catapults most the time. In a vs battle most heros would die from a single blow or be crippled with no respawns.
I don't mind the idea of a hard core game n mode but this agruement of realism is idiotic.
