So I've been catching up on the latest Gameplay and to my surprise in this Game there does not seem to be any Off-Ship activities besides the Hideout?
It really would be a bummer if this game would not allow to get off the ship, explore Islands or invade an ship from another player from the get go.
I'd really hate to see this game waste it's potential like Sea of Thieves did on the start ^^
and btw. (probably) 60$ for only a ripped out improved mechanic out of AC : Black Flag without the cool stuff? that'd be hilarious and infuriating

Well, first of all, there is no "latest gameplay." We haven't seen anything about the game at all since basically E3 2018, eleven months ago. So it's hard to say exactly where the game has gone since then.
That said, last year the devs stated that the only island you would be able to fully navigate on foot would be your hideout. There is (as of last year) no controlled melee combat or freely-roaming land exploration. If you're looking for Black Flag 2, you won't find it here. Unless it's changed since last year to be, you know... Black Flag 2.
Per the devs (at that time), the game's focus is naval/ship gameplay, not foot gameplay. That doesn't necessarily mean there will be no off-ship gameplay at all, but that that isn't the core of the game, and we haven't seen anything yet to indicate what form any hypothetical, limited foot gameplay would entail.
Maybe we'll find out more in a few weeks?
