....And that's why Ubisoft can't be trusted with making classes what SOF member didn't qual with AT? Or couldn't carry a smoke grenade or wire cutters? why are basic or advanced infantry skills and gear tied to classes when there is a significant amount of crosstraining in these tier 1 units?Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post

Pretty sure we asked for smoke grenades, not some gimmicky magicians smoke bomb vanishing stick. Why gear that every team member should be able to carry is locked behind a class is infuriating.
Remember those weekly challenges in GR Wildlands where they ask you to do things like "perform a headshot on an enemy at 60 metres or above with a pistol" or "snipe 4 targets at 300 metres or above without moving"?
They were training you up for Breakpoint and some fans really loved playing those repeating challenges just to get lovely prestige crates.
DING!! DING!!
But you see, this IS their Vision for gaming, their Grand Design as it were: to make them all indistinct from one another, to erase all distinctions between gaming franchises and genres.Originally Posted by FerroMortem Go to original post
A New Openworld Order!
Remember we are their "secret weapon" as squirrel girl, a spinach-frenzied french Popeye and SOF-man so keenly pointed out to us. So secret a weapon we are that they themselves have no idea what we're all about...Originally Posted by FerroMortem Go to original post

Yeah, the fact they continuously patted themselves on the backs for listening to us throughout the presentation was insulting when they have been added to a game that has no semblance to it's the predecessor and has changed genres just felt like I was being placated.Originally Posted by El_Cuervacho Go to original post
