Actually I am a bit on the fence with Ubilnsulin's post. I've been using the like, but there is something to be said about putting your name underneath a comment you support contrary to anomy likes. And bumping this topics is also something that might be actually good as we have a thread with more than 50 likes (I've never even saw a thread with a dozen likes before) that is fading to the second page because likes don't bump it.
I get forum rules, but +1 to me isn't spaming in this case.
Just my 2 cents.
I don't have a thumb under anyone's posts?Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
Are you on mobile? I definitely do on desktop. Right underneath the body of the post.Originally Posted by Ed-The-3rd Go to original post
I am! I have a "+ does that do the same thing?Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
The thumb only appears in PC browsers. Many people view these on other devices, and thus they don't see it.Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
Understood, but for the sake of the forum thread not being filled with posts that don't carry much weight or contribute to a larger discussion, I do want to ask that the +1 posts stop.Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post
Just to be clear: I understand that people are co-signing what OP's written and I am not trying to stifle or ignore it. As a mod I just don't think the "+1" stuff is what we want here. We've never allowed it over in the Wildlands forums or on other Ubi forums AFAIK.

t. frequent +1'r on mobile
You won't have to conjure up anything. I believe you could eloquently get your point across without overly intense effort. You're not the same person as OP and your opinion is worth sharing; this is a forum and that's why we're all here, after all.Originally Posted by B_616e6f6e Go to original post
Hypothetically, let's say there was a thread requesting something that isn't your cup of tea (I don't know, but let's say they're requesting a Battle Royale mode), and a dozen people responded to it with +1 posts. Does that better show why we might not want something so bump-y/spammy to be allowed?
