Personally, I don't mind the way the game is going. A lot of it seems to build off of stuff that was in (or introduced to) Wildlands. I'm excited to get a group of friends together in order to confront the raid.

I'm excited for the future of Ghost Recon and can't wait to see more at E3.

I could not agree more!! Ubisoft, we are begging of you to please not force us to play online with others. Everyone that I've spoken with does NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT want another Division game!! You said you were listening to us, so please LISTEN!

Agreed. These will be features that were thought of in concept stage. Very unlikely to change now.

I personally like Ghost Recon & The Division. Obviously Ghost Recon now is not Ghost Recon of old but the series has tended to keep me hooked.

Looting and general upgrading are fun RPG elements to have and with the "story line" they have provided, it kind of makes sense.

In my opinion, the AI teammates in Wildlands were pretty awful and only useful using the sync system. With that in mind, they might as well remove them. Unless they really go for real team AI mechanics (Covering, Surpressing, Sniping, Room Clearance etc), which is unlikely in this day and age, your not going to get your wish.
Looting & upgrading being fun is a matter of opinion not going to knock you for that, but I don't personally see those mechanics as being helpful to telling the story but rather detracting from it the tiered loot enemies & class system, for example, are pure RPG nonsense that is not grounded in reality.

The AI was awful that's not a reason to get rid of them all together it's a reason to improve on them.

Wow people are finally wakening up and seeing that every Ubi title these days is the same but with a different skin. FINALLY

Gaas my G'***...awful model thats designed purely to make money rather than great gameplay. What it is is checklist gameplay and Ubi are the kings of it... 50 hours of checking off each and every samey mission. Bored out our minds repeating the the crap after 6-8 hours.

Fair point. I agree to an extent.

What I would say is, if you remove all these features, the game is pretty empty.

Take GR Wildlands, it plays as an average TPS. It almost comparable to say MGSV, but it has a very disjointed (and poorly acted) story, so what can they do, introduce looting, the game becomes "larger", more fetchy, therefore, takes people longer to play.

You could argue that Assassins Creed shouldn't have looting etc. Perhaps R6 Seige shouldn't have multiple choice characters tied to only 1 choice of weapon. The list goes on.

I personally, would love a decent AI team. Just I doubt they will add it this late in development.

If it's empty without tiered loot and tiered enemies and mediocre fetch quests/tasks leveling up for basic gear/skills your character should know already or have brought with them, to begin with and bull$#!t classes that limit the player's freedom to an unrealistic and arbitrary level such as only having no reduced damage with suppressors for panther class because reasons, then maybe they should have focused on other aspects to keep the player engaged personally with games with tiered loot I find having it makes me want to play less after I beat the story because I know at that point I'm just fighting with the RNG gods to get a cosmetic item I like with the numbers and stats I want to remain competitive I prefer to leave tedious tasks to actual work, not my forms of entertainment some people like the RNG tiered loot thing I personally find it to be a major reason I don't buy games or stop playing them altogether when the game becomes stat whoring over enjoyable gameplay.
