Interesting... complaining about some stuff is on a kneejerk level and other things are legitimate concerns...

It is brought to my attention today that I found a news about Breakpoint being online only. I don't know what your exact reason is. I'm aware about the game-wide shared progression. I'm sorry, but this one I simply can't tolerate.

This game has single player and so by right I want to be able to play it even when there's no internet connection and undisturbed when internet connection is flimsy.

It looks to me your big focus is the single player experience, so why the online-only? If it's because PvP - well then, I don't give a fawdge about PvP, so let me play your damn game anytime I want. This isn't For Honor or R6S. Neither it is group-up type game The Crew or The Division. Nomad will be surviving alone, correct, Ubi? Like I said previously, even co-op doesn't make sense in Breakpoint.

So please, man. I really hope you can make a workaround for this. Hopefully this reaches the team well.

Apologies if this news turns out to be a hoax.
Like I tried to tell you in another thread Kane, the game reeks of a Games as a Service title like The Division, which is why I worried it would be online only. One thing I don't see anyone here mentioning is it will also have the same 3 rounds of special ammo The Division does. This was said by the devs in the Livestream. Then you add things like tiered loot and RAIDs locked to coop only, and in many ways it's a GR variant of The Division.

I also don't get how you could think the main focus is sp, because that's the part that was messed up the most. I just read on Ubi's site earlier today that in solo the player will have 3 drones to make a sync shot with each one. Trust me, solo play will be a sort of throw back to childhood, with a whole new meaning to sandbox. Personally I feel managing 3 drones is a bit silly.

No wonder Nomad's back pack was so ginormous. Dude is carrying three killer drones and a recon drone plus batteries and ammo for them. Guy must really be delusional about post service health care at the VA the way he keeps trying to do in his back, hips and knees.
