I've already sent one complaint to Ubisoft support so far and I'll undoubtedly send more, it's just a matter of how many. As little effect as it might have had on certain aspects of GRW aside, flooding their forums and support department with messages of discontent that are polite and respectful is going to be the more effective strategy. The Trojan Horse to Ubisoft's Troy, so to speak.

I agree, while some are saying that the odds are against adding AI team, its good Ubi knows what the community wants as the new Breakpoint had a lot of community input in gameplay ( not the cheesy story line, wish it was the middleast or southeast asia ), better tell them earlier than later.

If they add the AI team back after launch, then I'll buy it after launch. I'll even buy it new rather than used to support Ubisoft in the decision. But it solely depends on them adding the AI team and until/if that happens, I have no problem sticking with GRW.

Their reasoning for removing the team is an utter fallacy because the presence of co-op completely contradicts and negates it. If they truly wanted to promote a lone wolf style, co-op would have joined the AI team on the chopping block.

Breakpoint storyline is done for a Lonewolf experience
I'm going to have to disagree with you there. IF Breakpoint is supposed to be a "Lone wolf" Experience as you claim, Then Perhaps you could explain how we can have co-op with four humans online but somehow having 3 AI team mates goes against the "Break point Experience?. Surely if "Lone Wolf" is the intended experience then playing solo should be the ONLY option right? having 4 other humans runing around would surely break the immersion, storytelling and emotions or something.

Speaking more generally I'll be honest, This seems dumb. I was hyped for the game when I seen the release trailer and then learnt there is no AI Squaddies and was equally deflated. One of the first things I did in Wildlands was turn off as much of the "Online Elements" as I could, Game time is alone time for me. Saying "Get friends or suffer" is incredibly condescending and pretentious I have friends, plenty of friends but for me playing games is for when I don't want to deal with my friends, if I want some time to myself or if they are busy doing something else and a lot of the time my friends don't play the same games as me anyway. Plus not everyone plays like I do, and I really don't want to be forced into playing with some 12 year old moron screaming about the size of his Peen over mic while triggering a level 5 alert in extreme difficulty as they run into a fortified enemy base yelling LEROY JENKINS! Shooting an LMG into the air.

I was hoping as we moved onto the next game we would get more control over our AI team mates, especially load outs (something we were promised in Wildlands that never happened) and tactics, not less because Wildlands really needed more time in the Oven, two years on its a pretty solid game even if some things are still missing like Smoke Grenades for...reasons?

So with Wildlands to build on as a foundation, I had good expectations for Breakpoint but it turns out as some cake eating Rupert has decided to remove Squad AI completely because instead of fix it for....reasons?. Sure the Squad AI in Wildlands had its short comings I am certainly not claiming otherwise but they were there. thematically it made it feel more like a "Team", you were an elite squad against an entire army of bad guys deep in enemy territory and up to your neck in it, questioning if your only link to the outside world could really be trusted. which is the point of the game. If Ubi are determined to take this route, At Least make it a toggle like in Wildlands so those who want to play 'lone wolf' Rambo-Style can do that, and those of us who want AI squad mates can also play the game we want to play. You can't claim its for “Story Reasons” then also have online Co-Ops. IF you are willing to hand-wave your themes for Online Co-Op and Raids then I ask you to also blend for Human AI squad mates.

For What its worth, Add my name – Acidbuk to the list. Sadly Breakpoint will be a hard pass from me, until they add squad mates back in Ubi won't be seeing any of Her Majesties pounds from me. Sad I was looking forward to finding out who the female solider was that helped pull Nomads *** out of the fire. Ah Well.

Agree with you for most of the reasons you have posted. Thank you

I’d like the option of having a AI team.
