Dear devs,

I don't know if you've been playing a lot to your game lastly, but it becomes a pretty mess - at least in 4v4 modes.

The actual meta is to play with high ganking capacities characters, like the Hitokiri and the reworked Raider mainly, with time to time a lonely Lawbringer, Shugoki, Highlander or Centurion. The others have nearly totally desappeared, even those considered as solid duelists like Warden, Conqueror, Kensei, etc...

My personal opinion on this, is that 4v4 modes have became a gank fest, and are pretty boring to play. Don't get me wrong, I think it was really fun to fight alone or in team against several opponents... But this was before it became a spam fest of unblockable and hyper armored heavies. Before, if you were fighting alone against 2 or 3 opponents, you still have a chance to win, or to stall until your teammates come to your rescue... Since the release, even if you succeed to parry or to dodge an unblockable, one or two more will hit you, even before the parry animation is over.

I'm not here to ask for a nerf of the new characters or the reworked ones, there are already enough threads about that on the forum.

But I think it could be great if it was impossible to have twice the same character in each team. It would limit the brainless ganking, balance a little bit more the games, and bring back more diversity and interest into the fights.
It's already the case in Brawls, and it has always been on Rainbow Six Siege and other games, for obvious balancing issues, so I don't understand why this rule isn't effective yet in For Honor.
There are far enough characters to play with, some have a good complementarity (Nobushi and Shaman, for example), and a lot of interesting interaction are currently neglected because of the current meta.

Thank you for your attention.
