Man y’all messed up not putting A.I. in Breakpoint

Dear Ubi Paris man y’all messed up A.I. teammates is the main part of the ghost recon series I don’t know who told you taking them out was a good idea but they don’t know ghost recon. Some people like playing these games alone and are huge fans of the tactical aspects. Y’all are going backwards by taking this out I pray y’all add this in before it launches in October because you had it where you could take them out if you wanted in wild lands so don’t say is because you want that by yourself experience I know you guys can do it because you got co-op. I really hope you consider

at least please put them back and let us toggle on/off them in options.
NO AI team = NO Ghost recon.

I don’t understand it either. Ubisoft, did you really think people would be ok with you removing AI squadmates from a game that has used that feature as one of its tent poles since it’s inception? I mean just wow! It’s just such a stunning thing to even consider.

It's clear to me when after many requests to improve squad AI in GRW, Ubi says, "That's not part of our vision", they are dangerously falling into the rabbit hole of stubbornness. They seem intent on acting like kids seeing what they can get away with when it comes to disowning their GR fanbase.

I guess they'll find out come October if their defiance pays off.

I'm sure it will pay off because they are going after an entirely new part of the market and those that liked the original DNA of the series are well outnumbered by those who will buy it with little care what the title says or what the franchise is meant to be. Ubi is worried about the bottom line and if it delivers it will only serve to embolden them in the future to stray further and further away from the grounded origins of Tom Clancy games. Games that bare Tom Clancy's name no longer should at this point it cheapens the man's legacy of impressive research, attention to detail and authenticity.

The OP is right also this is right.

It's an unfortunate situation when as a gamer community, albeit a much older gamer (30yo), we understand why they are making these decisions. I work in revenue so I understand, but at the same time, I'M NOT IN REVENUE at Ubisoft, I am the consumer, the gamer, the fan.

It does hurt a little inside, I guess the mature of me says "I get it" but the gamer in me says (insert profanity directed at the sky).

    THE DREAM
The release of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint brings in amazing sales > They can finally do some fan service in the form of:

    A. Concurrently work on a project that is Ghost Recon, the platoon squad, Tier 1 unit of operators with superior training, tactics, and tools with the support of JSOC/SOCOM. PVE focused.
    B. Concurrently work on a project that is like Bohemia Int's ARMA but it's Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Joint Strike (name taken from GR3 iirc). Sandbox- Missions Mode PVE/PVP, not Battle Royale, emphasis of Sandbox. Like Ghost Recon, PMCs- Wolves, Extranjeros, and Unidad or SB.
    C. Put all the community requests that was implemented into Breakpoint into Wildlands

Is it realistic? I did say it was "The Dream"

I've moved this thread to the Breakpoint forum since it's about the new and upcoming title
