Just a few suggestions
For Honor is a game that I absolutely hate and love at the same time, the reasons for the hatred are quite obvious as are the reasons for adoration. However I would like to introduce you to a few ideas that I have that could possibly shorten the things to hate about this game...
1. 4 Players on a team using the same character.
At first it may not seem that bad, but when you think about it, this is a serious issue. This tends to occur mostly with brand new characters especially the unbalanced ones, for example: With Hitokiri (Sakura) being the latest character with hyper-armour and an easy to access unblockable attack, during a close quarters fight with more than one of them is an absolute nightmare as one of them stuns or guard-breaks you whilst the other launches the unblockable that you simply cannot parry. If you happen to come across that kind of situation, you might as well give up because you won't be able to really fight against it (some of us more than others obviously). I suggest a simple solution of limiting the number of players who can use the same character from 4 to 2 (even though two of the same character can also be a pain, I'm looking at you... CENTURION).
2. Why does Berserker get hyper-armour?
No seriously, he's an assassin. With his constant dodging, infinite combo, seemingly infinite stamina for his God damn faints and lighting fast attacks... Who's idea was this?
3. The quit penalty
I agree with it completely, but there are scenarios where you do genuinely need to leave the game, and being slapped with a 15 min ban can seem unfair. For this one I simply suggest to give everyone one chance to leave without being penalised, but if they leave a second time within a set amount of time (like 24 hours maybe, just like the bounty reset?) they should definitely be slapped for it. (This one is more of a pet peeve)
4. Replacement bots
The bot lvl (To me at least) seems to be just plain random when they have to replace a player, I've had situations where the enemy team won the game because a trash player left and they got a lvl 3 bot in his stead. For this one, I simply suggest that all bots who have to replace a player who has departed, should just be lvl 2 bots. (a formidable opponent for an average player, an impossible obstacle for a noob, and literal garbage for a pro)
I think that about sums it up, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this down in the comments below, I hope the devs will at least read it too.
