    Concerns about classes

So I get it if you’re playing MP... it forces you to work as a team. I get that.

But if I’m playing solo — do I have to pick a class?

Say I go for Panther... So then I’m forced to play the entire game with a small set selection of weapons that that class can use? Like no shotguns, no sniper rifles - just silenced SMG’s???

No don’t do that — that sounds like a stupid idea.

I like to chop and change when I play Wildlands. I don’t want to be locked into one playstyle the entire game!

    Ubisoft? Clarification?

I hope when flying solo they give the option of no class or custom class or something.

I’m a stealthy player but I also love to use shotguns, sniper rifles, assault rifles... etc.

Why should I be forced to play with a certain selection of weapons the entire time unless I go back and change my class at the It also suggests you can’t pick up any weapons on the fly?

Why can’t we use whatever weapons we want but just have different perks??

This is a really concerning feature.

Yeah if that’s the case, that’s another terrible idea.

I hate to seem like I’m hating the game before it’s even out or bashing Ubi after all the great things they’ve put into the game, but the more I look at it, the more reasons I see, not to buy it.

I would not go that far...

I’m disappointed about no Team AI, but it’s not a deal breaker. As I play that way now.
I’m more concerned about this feature actually.

If you're forced to go solo because of any number of factors, then one best have a whole series of options in how you can play it. However I fear the opposite given the history of the studio and the direction they decided to embark upon with the latest title.

Why not instead of a class system that grants bonuses and special items, (Panther - Smoke bomb), have a inventory and ‘practice’ system.

Limited inventory - if you want smoke it may be at the expense of some other item.
Practice - the more you use a particular weapon type the more proficient you become. If you switch to a different weapon type your skills on the former slowly fade as the new weapon skills increase.

This system sounds too much like the Division 2 for my liking.

If each class is just better with certain weapons... and they don’t actually limit what weapons each class can actually use — I’m fine with that.

Pretty sure they said in the Q&A section you can change your class at any stage by going to a bivouac. At work now so can’t really check.

that's where you'll rest to heal change equipment and choose time of day and weather conditions
