Why not have a team who judges our choices during this stressful situation. They might be supportive or might not be, which would make us fight better as squad or could lead to them disobeying orders. Thus giving us something we've REALLY never seen in a ghost recon game.
Definitely could’ve done something. I’m not sure about disobeying orders. I can’t imagine a Tier one unit would do that, (unless it was ‘Frag that bus full of kids!’) But I get you point.
The teams dialog could even change based on the difficulty setting. Higher the difficulty the less hints they’d give.

Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint are just so much more fun if you got friends playing with you when you know each others strengths and weaknesses. The teamplay you can have is so much better than these AI bots. If they would make it again like Wildlands would be awesome though. Toggle the presence of your AI squadmates on and off so everyone can enjoy the game.

You’re absolutely right about playing with friends, assuming ; 1 they’re any good, 2 theyre interested in PvE, 3 they’re available to play when you are. For many of us this isn’t the case. I have friends that play, but they are almost NEVER available when I am and they prefer PvP anyway.

And playing with PUGs, that’s way worse than an AI team. At least the AI team will all stick to the same mission.

Yeah, we always play milsim so we are trained pretty good. But like I said, would love to see the option to toggle squadmates on and off. If you play on PS4 you can add me if you want. My gamertag is the same as my username here. Would love to meet some fellow Ghosts.

In combat? That's an article 99. Catch a death penalty for that. Unless the order is unquestionably unlawful, or you have some crazy desire to dance Danny Deever, that isn't happening.

I ordered the biggest edition I could as soon as I saw this was coming yesterday, but the more I have read and seen about this game over the last 24 hours I'm beginning to be put off and I think I’ll cancel my pre-order, no AI squad mates is a major issue for me, I LOVED wildlands, the team was superb and really worked well.
As for the eating survival mechanic that it is going to have, I don't like it, RDR2 was ruined by its grind and I made the mistake of keeping the pre-order for that, must have played it for a few days before I got bored with it, won't happen this time, I think I’m out.

Hell yes. The franchise name just needs to be ignored, like it should with Wildlands and Siege.

They're all good games, but don't live up to their franchise name. The name Ubisoft is all you need to concern yourself with. If these things still surprise you or cause you alarm then that would suggest to me that you haven't been paying attention thus far. Maybe the reveal hype got your hopes up and you decided to ignore all prior evidence from these past 5 years. Maybe you're bad at spotting patterns. Who knows. What I do know is that Ubi will "take into consideration" the community's wants, and be able to deliver in some regards, but will not be convinced to alter their "vision" as it pertains to the structure of their games. No going back, only forward.
