This game has turned into Far Cry. The similarities are uncanny. Ubisoft has lost their way. They don’t even understand what differentiates their own games. They are all slowly evolving into the same formula.

From this very first impression im going to say NO..

maybe theres "rebel" assistants or other things that can come into play to add variety to the game..

Im going to take a wait and see approach but this isnt "Ghost Recon" as I have come to expect even after the various ways the series has been redefined.

I'll buy it because I'm a fan, you know me @Hugo-FOU and how much time and effort I put into (1) Gunsmithing and (2) AI Fireteam.

Not going to lie, a LOT of things made me hyped, all the little things added made me hyped, but we all know the BIGGEST elephant in the room was... improve the ally AI

Can't complain about improving AI if AI isn't there.
Well, now we can complain about not having AI. lol

I can only assume that the programming for an Open World shooter must mean there are infinite amounts of coding needed and yeahhhh, it's that "I am very hyped but I am also like, dang, shoulda, woulda, coulda, but they didn't"

Hopefully they’re just breaking our balls. Maybe at E3 they’ll reveal some in-depth squad commands. Wishful thinking

I have problems believing that they entierely removed squad mates. I mean since the begining, Ghost Recon is a squad based game, even if your teammates aren't that intelligent. But, still you're member of unit.

October is in five month I sincerely hope they reconsider their position, or make an option or something, this is the worst decision they could possibly make (this one and the class based gameplay, I mean you come from "do whatever you want" to "you should have gone for the heavy class for this boss")

It took 5 years to make wildlands and the AI we got is the best they could do... can you imagine what kind of AI we can expect in 5 months? I rather they leave it alone LOL.

Some of you guys really make me laugh and others make me question humanity... you are all hype from a Hype Gimmicky Trailer Video? Really? I mean, the video was exciting in certain areas, sure but to believe that is actual gameplay. But hey, more power to you. Do remember this post when you are crying that the game is missing A, B, C & D and or you thought it had this by watching a video. Oh and no worries, there are more to come so expect to empty your wallets even more

Oh and to answer the OPs question... Sure, I will end up buying it just like I did WL but at Bargain Bin prices and after the first few patches to get rid of most of the bugs and glitches. Also because I have learn that with UBI you don't go forward but backwards so I am going to pretend that I am playing Far Cry as it was intended to be played instead of GR as it was Unintended

Yes, I will. This is only the first show and lone wolf was a player feedback anyway. But one thing cannot just break the whole deal. Thank Ubi it's still PvE not Battle Royal or other PvP based game.
