    Rifle Scopes question

Will rifle scopes be fixed in Breakpoint? In Wildlands rifle scopes zoomed everything in, even things outside of the scope. Scopes that you would not have your eye right up against oddly covered the rest of the screen in black. Rifle scopes should not zoom in anything outside of the scope, and do not move towards the camera when you change zoom level. Switching from 2.5 to 3.5 is immersion breaking when the scope itself moves towards your face. That is not how optics work.

when the weapon sayes it is a 50

    YOU CANNOT FIX STUPID

I am a retired Marine scout sniper,
    there are many SNipe weapons

    30-30 , 30-6 , 30-8 ,...........

they this miss every point in this game!

A 50 is a 50= no such thing in this stupid game!

yet the largest in this stupid game is a 338= you cannot fix stupid!

    silly

A 50 is an anti Aircraft weapon- made for snipers for very long shots - Yes it kicks lick a Horse .

It will kick you back 6- 12 " when you fire it.

    Very powerfull weapon

but they use it as a 5.6 or a 7.6 cal weapon = stupid

    OBVIOUSLY they never fired one!

Yes, I’m not sure why they don’t use PiP type tech to represent the scope view. It’s frustrating.

Here’s what it should look like...

When you consider that while lying down in prone camo on your side, weapon angled, you aim, the image is still upright...

The engine probably doesn't even support PIP.

The thing you talked about is PIP aka Picture-in-Picture
"COD 2019" and "Escape from Tarkov" had that kind of feature but Ghost Recon series never had such feature.
Even COD has that god damned PIP and yet Ubisoft doesn't, damn !

All Picture-In-Picture requires is the ability to render a scene to a texture and then rendering that texture with post-processing effects (refraction) on top of the scope quad with an alpha channel to make it round.

Rendering a whole scene is expensive sure, but certainly possible for today's hardware. If consoles can't handle it then simply make PIP scopes a graphics option.
