I noticed this as have many others. I think its just a problem with the hit registering, what with it being Alpha footage.Originally Posted by Andrey822017 Go to original post
kMeh, minor things... Now, did you see how cool the animations are?Originally Posted by Andrey822017 Go to original post![]()
I am glad I am not the only idiot noticing little tid bits wrong with gameplay where almost everyone is wetting their underwear with non gameplay mechanics. Then again, it doesn't bother the masses either so UBI will pay zero attention to it or claim it is just a trailer video, unless of course you also believe it is a true gameplay video
Oh and what's with Nomads character looking like the Hulk on Steroids?and why would they get a different guy for the voice over? That or the regular guy had a cold or was underpaid this time around.
[So, you are telling me that we are going to have color coded guns. Make the game have more guns and, Dont repaint The Division. The Division is for MMO players, if you want to keep your Wildlands player's, and want a successful free roam game add more military aspects. You have a huge Milsim community. Look how many people are complaining about your game make a change please. We want Realism , weapon customization , Realistic Ballistics , more camos (For clothing) , and we Want our AI's back.]
I read some guys saying Ubisoft dont add AI teammates cuz History, cuz that would affect main campaign adding AI Teammates.
Can be true, but there's a little mistake with that excuse...
If really that was the case, so why don't add cinematics on Wildlands when carrying enemys to Bowman, and only appears Nomad and Bowman.
But at the beginning of the game, u show all AI teammates, and only when El Sueño make appearence, u make a cinematic with all of them, that mean, why don't do the same 🤔?
if u did once, u can do it again 😒
Ok, so I won’t go on about the lack of AI teammates I just found out about. The hot air balloon of anticipation I try to instill in the below (optional) paragraph has been sadly diminished, but I can see people are with me in arguing, pleading, and begging not to take it away from us. Navy Seal games seem so far and few between for us console people, especially, and while SOCOM holds nostalgia dear to my soul despite its hard fall from grace, the AI in Wildlands was not as bad as I feel people view it. Perfectly substantial foundation to build and improve upon...and yet, here we are. The gameplay trailer injected such personality in the three teammates on offer; the cloaked asian sniper assassin, the female-badass-killing machine, and the strong-back heavy who unfortunately takes the brunt of punishment later in the trailer, plus Nomad’s new “weightiness” I feel is just enough right to fit with the sufficient characterization going on, that I even drooled a bit when I thought I might have seen hints of character swapping mid-game. (For a second only, but I can’t tell you how bad I wish I could keep Nomad on the assault rifle and not the jack-of-all-trades he had to be in Wildlands. Did he have to drive ALL the time?) Co-op and multiplayer is crucial, I recognize and concur, but as a solo player, why can’t we all break bread at the same table? Wildlands offered an option to play without the AI guys, so why forego it altogether now? And I never understand why it seems companion AI never gets attention or improved...especially when it was a fairly solid launching point, already established in every previous entry to date. It’s the thorn in all video games to date, but why? Four man squads with 2x2 team options is formula, no? It’s as essential as multiplayer in a military shooter based off of the Navy Seals template, right? Another drone companion? We have a Sam Fisher in Sam Fisher, and countless other one-man-armies...please don’t take away our layers of strategy in the 4 man squad you yourselves established so well. Please please pretty please...I beg you.
I can’t stop watching the gameplay trailer, though! Animations are sick! (The details are staggering: the brief pain headache effect, the streaming blood running down Nomad’s arm, the bloody spit, the way he tilts his gun as he peers through the doorway before shooting the patrolling guard! The ground takedown hopefully come with a dozen more, and stealth executions can’t get any more brutal! Countless other things I just can’t...YES!) Survival options sound not only appropriate for the story setting, but crucial to compliment the Ghost Recon blueprint. I love the fictional/sci-fi vibe and stylized characters hunting us now, as well as the MGS 4 mech tanks and drone forces we’ll potentially have to face...(and I hate using comparisons but the MGS 4 reference is meant to compliment and not diminish Breakpoint’s concepts.) Ghost Recon has a badass fingerprint now more than ever in the wake of other veteran games struggling to inject every trope to remain relevant, (COD for one), but Ghost Recon feels confident while others seem less. No more killing shirtless ********ers from 1990 Los Angelos. ( And please guarantee that lung-collapsing thud from bullets in Wildlands and the red mist of death!) I haven’t anticipated a game so much in a long time.
And... thank you for you time. Hopefully.
P.S.- Did the female operative in the gameplay footage take out that enemy soldier who was running across the screen with bullet ricochet off the pillar? It seemed she was leading her sights behind him, but killed him regardless. Just throwing it out there because I read someone in this thread seemed to point it out as well, and I happened to wonder the same thing, only in a not so concerned sort of way.
I put over 300 hours into the solo part of wildlands! 99% was solo because my other friends didn't see the game as attractive as I did. I loved it! why do you need to take the most important part of ghost recon out of the solo experience by removing the ai teammates? they have been in the templet since the first ghost recon!!! make them more bad *** and more customizable than just the uniform so we can play the way we want. also if it was possible to remove ai teammates in your last game why cant you have that same structure this time around.???? I should be able to choose weather to lone wolf or not. and to choose weather my team has a S.A.W equipped or if I want the whole team using m4s.the game looks great but im on the fence now knowing that I might be stuck to sam fisher a ghost recon game....Originally Posted by FirstGenGaming Go to original post
