The game looks fantastic, I'll give Ubisoft that much, but here are my concerns...
You based single player as a lonewolf experience. Ok, with that, this is no longer a Ghost Recon game as Ghost Recon is squad based. This is a huge disappointment for the majority of Ghost Recon fans and I highly suggest thinking of a way to bring in game AI Teammates and lose the momentary AI teammate drones. It has been demanded over and over to improve AI behavior and commands, not get rid of AI. What's even more bothersome is that you can have a squad when you play with friends? So how does having 3 other Ghosts randomly appearing on the island fit in the story? How does it make sense that when they leave (sign off), the main character is abandoned?
Prone camo sounds fun, looks cool and I get that you were inspired, but it makes no sense. You would be in better cover if you low crawled into some foliage. It's somewhat feasible in the snow, that is, if the professional hunters don't find your tracks leading to the pile of snow you buried yourself in. The bigger question is, if mud has an effect on enemies detecting you, then does wearing camouflage that fits the environment have an effect? If you think laying out in the mud is effective, then so should the camouflage.
I noticed though that player movement slows down when aiming. This seriously needs to be changed. The character should be able to rush, walk, and creep even while the gun is at the shoulder. This is an authentic tactical movement, so why penalize a player while aiming?
Beyond that, I liked that you took in feedback from Wildlands, but I'm surprised that no effort was made to improve AI and player aiming movement in this game.
Please bring back AI teammates these games are about tactical team gameplay weather you play online or off. Playing solo will reduce immersion, if they want to limit revives and stuff to keep survival in mind that's fine. I was watching the stream today thinking it was great, they took the strong foundation they had with wildlands and started to give the game it's own identity in the flooded open world market. And then no AI team mates comes out and I'm ready to rage quit.
Clearly the community likes having AI teammates or we wouldn't have asked for improvements in wildlands or begged for the ability to customize the AI.
Honestly it feels like the team doesn't have the time or budget to do the AI team the way they know the community would want I, but honestly I'd rather have the same occasionally dumb AI team mates than none at all.
The day they announce AI teammates I will hit preorder, until then I just dont know. Ubi in my opinion has lead the industry in listening to their community so if you agree with the need for this feature take the time and type it up!!!!!
Looks great, I'm pleasantly surprised that it comes out this year. My only sticking point, and it's super minor...and being nit picky; It seems like we're still sticking/slinging our rifles to our backpacks.
Wwwhhhyy. Lol. I've always found it to be a distraction, bobbing and waving so close to the camera while using a pistol. But that's just me... again it's super minor and probably only something that irks me.
Now that I've re-watched the gameplay footage and noticed that during the big firefight that the female ghost slings her gun across her front during her karambit take-down animation...so here's hoping we'll have weapons slung properly(?) (Is it a norm to have your weapon slung to your pack nowadays in the military and I've just not paid attention?)
Also hoping for more low-profile/slim backpacks for use.
No tactical AI squad, no offline play and future tech overuse. Health bars, loot, class restricted gear. This is The Division spinoff. Stop with all the scifi and spinoffs. It's supposed to be subtle. A couple prototype weapons and gear not full blown skynet. Stop putting TomClancy on whatever shooter you come up with. If you want to make a different game then make a different game. But you don't have to trash the TomClancy brand.

Thanks UBISOFT for killing all AI teammates. They were really annoying the hell out of me in Wildlands.
Just an example: Infiltrating a base and enemy sneaking up from behind and kills me while they are just standing there because the enemy AI obviously can't see them and therefore concentrate all fire at me.
They DO NOT have your back AT ALL.
I hope this will be a thing of the past. Very, very annoying.
