The only time I have ammo issues is when I run around openworld doing mini mission after mini mission.
Really? Don’t you think that’s what anyone is talking about? Or Try running dz challenge with 2 patrols popping up?

You’re so full of crap, ammo is a huge nuisance when running freely around the lz. You sling you’re dung at anyone who thinks and knows ammo is a nuisance while admitting just now it can be while running LZ. Get off your horse

Never had a ammo issue running a decent weapon, except in one heroic mission, where 3 sniper dogs had me pinned. There are ammo boxes all over the open world in the street, in side mission areas, pretty much everywhere actually... and they show up on your radar if you look. There are also reloads at every friendly CP.

Running out of ammo generally means you are missing a lot, your weapon is too high RPM and you have ignored any skills that would replenish or grant you bonus ammo. Which if you miss a lot, should be something your build focuses on. Easy fix: Holster the pistol exotic, run a LMG with 120 rounds and aim for weak spots, you will end encounters with nearly the same ammo as you started with, unless you can't manage to hit a weak spot.

No one said anything about missions and no ammo boxes are not “everywhere” on the map. Half the time I see an ammo crate on the map it’s no where to be found or locked behind a gate/wall. Love this one, “ your aim must be bad”; sorry try again. And lastly, I should change my build. I don’t wanna change my build. Funny how everyone I play with says he same thing, ammo is a nuisance. Sure like I said you can fast travel or run to the nearest CP but that again it’s unnecessary. Or better yet, try running solo in the dz while clearing challenging lm with patrols pooping in.

Again it’s not that I can’t survive without more ammo it’s just a total nuisance having to run to an ammo box every few encounters

It's an issue or else it wouldn't be being addressed in the title update. Since it doesn't involve or affect you you can easily remove yourself to another topic that does. You're no authority to tell anyone else how to play or what to complain about.

Yeah...having to fast travel to a safe house to fill up on ammo is such a game killer. SMH

I think I ran out of ammo once....and that was cause I was doing stuff without bothering to open any of the ammo boxes.

Sounds like someone is doing a little too much spraying and not enough praying.

So many freaking apologists on these forums, do you get bruised lips from kissing butt.
None of you armchair experts have a clue how I play before trotting out you can’t aim ,,, doh doh doh.

Read and comprehend the post before dribbling out the crap in some of the posts about aiming, getting good etc, god it must be boring to be soo good.

There is an issue with ammunition, as one poster commented, Ubisoft have acknowledged it but have chosen to do nothing about it.

Even just based on the game progression, from L1 dumb dumbs to WT5 there is a huge increase in npc’s toughness and numbers, yes I use ammo boxes but even then there are missions where wave number 6, 7, 8 roll out and it is at a critical point your main weapon runs out of ammunition.

The worst one is taking over some control points where 30 plus npc’s have rocked in, the passing supply team, the Broadcast mob up the road the TC crew over the back and you can not access ammunition then.

So I can just call out to the fat yellow boss, hang on I have to change my weapon and scroll through the menu’s looking for an alternative weapon using different bullets, yes I have an M60 and a L45 to swap to, but why do I have the same ammo as when I started to minimise this.

D1 with Lonestar bonuses was ridiculous, 2600, but even Nomad had 1800 down to 1400 with extra’s added on.

It is just another slight annoyance, not a huge issue but it does stand out when my enemy can fire non stop for extended periods and repeat endlessly, they do not run out of ammo.

The main time it becomes an issue is roaming doing TC, Broadcasts and killing patrols, just prefer not to return to the safe house or BOO as repeated trips become boring, especially seeing if it is not for ammunition then for grenades, both the hand thrown and the rocket propelled.

Like to start with a grenade at a stationary target, open fire simultaneously and take out one or 2 npc’s and the task is much easier.

The suggestion that I am using high rate of fire AR’s made me laugh, so you then are using slower methods to kill the enemy.

God not asking for the Crown Jewels just some more ammo to reduce the number of times you run out, often at crucial battle times, maybe 1000 or 1200.

Yes sorry it must be a crime to want resources that cost heaps to produce and add to green house gases and global warming but I am a capitolist.

Managing ammo is definitely an important skill in the game. I use an MMR and AR build, and use the MMR as much as possible because 1 bullet will bring down most enemies. But the slow fire rate, the time to line up the shot, etc. Sometimes you need something fast, and that is the role of the AR. While you can use an AR for a distance kill, it is wasteful.

If you have not stacked damage to elites (DTE) then that will cost you a lot of ammo. There are also ways to optimize your build so that headshots ate much more damaging. There are even things that build up your overall AR damage, and also overall weapon effectiveness.

Then there are weak points. These really save you ammo and time. I used to waste a lot of ammo on those sniper dogs.

Finally, you do gave to move about and pick up ammo from drops.

On one hand I would like it if ammo was not so tight, but on the other hand it makes you be a better player.
