Honestly, if it wasn't because they are using the GR name and a concept that was done back in 2004 (Far Cry by Crytek), which by the way the own that franchise as well, the trailer looks like it could be a good game. Sure, we are not not only going Michael Bay Hollywood style movie action pack but it appears that Nomad ate Arnold and he got big in the flight from Bolivia to the island.Originally Posted by Klaymond Go to original post
Futuristic is fine, but honestly, id rather a futuristic game, if its gunna be like Wildlands, be more like Planetside 2, with a mix of Mechwarrior and 2142. Just a infantry only, island survival type of game, running from drones? That just sounds boring honestly.....even Borderlands 3 looks like were going to get to play with a mech if you pick the right vault hunter.
There was a lengthy discussion on the topic, here:Originally Posted by J_Rock81 Go to original post

It seems to me, that what we'll see in GR: Breakpoint - is a "history" of what we see as Black Tusks in The Division 2. Maybe the opposing faction in Breakpoint actually is a Black Tusk. Dunno if I like it yet. What I do hate - is that huge armored guy - juggernaut, if I'm correct - that is exactly the same as the one in The Division 2...
But I can not say that Division 2 has some unrealistic equipment (except that superstrong juggernaut), so...
ubi soft need to get back to making what made ghost recon great. I don't understand why you would change something that's not broke. I feel like things started to change when call of duty warfare came out and had all that sucsess other companys started to go away from the things that made them good just to try and follow in COD foot steps. I would have liked ghost war 4v4 if it was for all the stupid drones and recon tower. All this tech is killing the element of surprise I hope with breaking point they go back to their roots.
