Technically it should not matter if they released 515 or whatever, the gear should have a mathematical scale behind it and go on forever. It would just be bad with the raid one or maybe two weeks away, at least it sounded rather soon, to have everybody regrind everything, as many banked all the GS 500 they might want to use after the talent changes.

Nerf this nerf that yada yada

Promise high level gear in dz, change their mind again for pve’ers, now change their mind again for the casuals that don’t even play so that they don’t feel left behind.

I just don’t understand the logic of placating people that hardly play the game and delaying content for folks to catch up.
How are people still not even 500?

How sway? Oh it’s because they’re too afraid to go in the dz where you can actually farm efficiently...

If you’re not going to play the whole game then you shouldn’t have the power to dictate what’s going on with the game and sadly FOR ME, these are the ones screaming the loudest and getting changes that suit them.

It’s just ******ed to me, no offense
Some players will have full time jobs which means they will be working 8 hours or more a day, They come home and they have to cook up their own food, clean up the house, some players have children, some other players go into the outside world and socialise with real living humans, some players may be caring for friends or family members This is just a few reasons why some players are not 500GS already. Not everybody can sit on their rear playing games all day. Games are not only for the hardcore 18 hours a day players and they never have been. Games are there to be played when and at what pace people want to play them at. A game is a break from the reality and stresses of life, a game shouldn't be a way of life.

lol ... it ain't the casuals causing the problems ... they are casual ... they don't give 2 f**ks about commenting on forums or giving feedback ... they are casual. It's the relentless complaining by the "hardcore 100000000+ hours" players. Because they are the ones who live here ... on the forums and never shut the f**k up.

One would expect that simple "challenge + reward = replayability + satisfaction" formula will be the first thing that comes up in their minds when they look at both PvE and PvP. But obviously, there is some secret master plan at work which will save us all...through endless grind of useless gear and recalibration station food aka resources. I was never a true PvP guy, but lately most of the time in the game I spend in ODZ, because despite all the flaws it is the only thrilling thing for me in this game. And I am horrible PvP player, whose motto could be "If u meet me, u can beat me". Is this not SOTG on its own? :-]

RNG is not a good incentive. EVER.
Make clear objectives to unlock certain attributes. Reach experience level to be able to buy gear. Gain experience by doing missions, projects, roam streets and help out.
I for one am glad the GS515 did not make it. One down, more to go....

But surely you know people who have that many hours are:

    - Younger gaming audience with less responsibilities in life
    - Streamers/Content Creators who do it for a living or as a dedicated hobby
    - Unemployed
    - Retired
    - People who make sacrifices mostly their sleep or social life lol
