What the raid needs to do is add new gearsets, talents etc that can add to current builds or create completely new builds that are interesting. If they wanna do that in addition to adding 515 no problem by me, but as i see it there is no point to building another unstoppable force, berserker, or clutch build at 15 gearscore higher. After you hit the gearscore you are right back here. Having nothing to grind for.

New gearscore increase is normally accompanied by new content. Sure the raid is new content but it is 1 activity. But i am speaking of the new expansions. At that point you will get 2 or 3 new missions and a new activity or 2 perhaps that can make the grind interesting. Running the same missions from release 1 to 30 then wt1 to 5 to eventually get to 500 gs is 1 thing. Why would i grind that same content for 15 gs. This will simply lead to a bad precedent. A uear and a half later we might be grinding the same **** for 650 unstoppable force builds. No thank you
Best doesn't necessarily mean higher gear score. Best could be new set gear, gear with new and interesting talents, maybe new brand sets with different bonuses. Maybe some new cool exotic items. To be honest, at this point I would take anything over doing Lincoln Memorial for the 100th time.

at the end of the day it is just about the business model.
what is the most cost effective way of translating resources in into money out?
the preferences of the player base scarcely come in to it...

Correct. But that does not change the fact that these people that are toxic and unsatisfied will move on to discredit the next game on their list. And the people that like the game will stay here. Then it will be good in many ways, and a good community - that helps each other - too.

Damn those casuals and their money and damn them for coming into an elitist game when they are not welcome. Damn Ubisoft too for trying to cater for a wider market just to make more money. They'll probably just go and waste that by investing in new game development.
