I did this video some weeks ago to illustrate what I think is wrong with deflect being a trader of damage.

For example in the first deflect agains berseker, if you don’t touch anything it will deflect most of it, but not ALL of it.

The same with shaman, in this case you will deflect everything but you have to do a second deflect to be able to do deflect all the combo.

Too mucho effort for gaining too little (or anything). So please, don’t say that deflect where made harder because it was easy to do. It is ALWAYS better to parry.
