Where do I begin... There are so many things wrong with this games PvP. So let's start with the gun balance and hipfire issue. Have you guys even tested the LMG's in this games PvP before you released it? How could 2-shot LMG's even be a thing in the normalized and non normalized PvP? And if that wasn't enough, players can easily hipfire you with them - and let me tell you, almost all of them actually do hipfire with them. Now that I already mentioned hipfire, let's talk about it. You guys made so many steps forward in the first The Division when it came to hipfire, but for The Division 2, you threw every progress that you have made away, which is just more than tragic. Now we have players chicken dancing with high fire rate SMG's and LMG's...
But let's move on to the PvP game mode Conflict: Conflict has only 2 different game modes. The one called Skirmish is almost like a joke. You spend more time matchmaking than actually playing the game. A round don't even lasts 5 minutes since you don't have enough points in a match. The Domination mode is also way too quick finished, since the counter doesn't goes really high. But nonetheless I just don't like 4v4 at all. I think 8v8's are way more intense - like you had before in your first games Last Stand game mode. I wouldn't have something against a 16v16 game mode either. But 4v4 is just lame. At least give us more options.
So now on to the last and most important topic that I wan't to talk about: The Dark Zone(s):
The only reason why I played The Division for years and stick with it even through very hard and dry times was the Dark Zone. It offered something unique and you could experience so many different things in there. But that's gone with The Division 2 now. When I enter The Division 2's Dark Zones, I don't get the sense of trying to stay alive whatever happens. The Dark Zones feel all dead due to the reason that one server has max 12 players. You had twice as that many in the first game. The Dark Zones are also way too small. I hope that they'll get expanded in the future. The ODZ is a complete ****show (sorry to say that word). Where are the rogue indicators? And where is the spawn timer for a killed rogue agent? Some stuff that is already a problem in the normalized PvP areas are even more ridiculous in the ODZ - like the Vector or LMG's. When a group of players combines these two named weapon categories with hipfire in the ODZ, you don't stand a chance. They don't even care about getting killed, because they just spawn a second after they got killed and come back and continue the ****fest...
I myself am really disappointed with this games PvP and it's Dark Zone(s). But I haven't given up completely yet. I really hope that you guys can work on these changes. Otherwise I can't see this game surviving even a single year.
Conflict should let you manage your inventory why you wait, they'd have a lot more people playing. The pvp seems more balanced in the dz, and the odz shouldnt have a rogue timer. We can kill players and not announce it. Its what the dz should be. I hope they keep it that way. Its the biggest draw to the odz for me. The dz2 is the same as dz1, wxcept nobody chases rogues around, everyones learned its too unbalanced in the favir of being rogue. And ive played bothbsides enough to know. I like the turrets also, they bring out another key element to the dz...being awate of your surroundings, don't chae a solo across the map with your team unless you know what you're doing. Dz2 is leaps better than dz1 in so many ways. Now they just need to add more players in each dz. Theyre big enough as is.
Had to laugh when the above commenter said it's to unbalanced In favor of being rogue...but yeah anyway your points are valid . The games pvp would need entire darkzones redesigned conflict redesign . Just alot of work I've been harping on this games pvp problems and so have others . I agree 4v4 is lame as well as only 12 player darkzones .. I am not pleased with the direction pvp and the darkzone has been taken . I have stopped logging in some days and I am giving this game up until this patch to get right , I'm not waiting 6-12 months for the game to become possibly good pvp wise . In a few months they are gonna see that they screwed up and try and fix things but it will be to late . I am just hoping the new ghost recon announcement will be the game I've been waiting for
Ha, if you dont see being rogue is an advantage I'd bet you think dz is heroic level difficulty also. I have to laugh if you dont think it is easy rogue.Originally Posted by Squirrelrabbit Go to original post
Normalisation for Skill Builds is just a slap in the face to an already weaker class of builds. You think you have problems defending yourself against an LMG in there? You have problems defending yourself period in there as a Skill build. I actually really like the intensity of the Black Tusk fights, but it all goes out the window when you throw unbalanced rogues into the mix. I've started leaving that zone the second I see another player.
It's taken me hundreds of hours to get my skill builds to the point where I can use high end mod slots but the second I walk into a normalised zone I suddenly need another 600 or 700 hundred SP that simply doesn't exist in the game in any meaningful quantity. That means that all my builds suddenly become half as strong in an instant, and that's without the headache of having to use a completely different loadout to the PvE loadouts solely due to rediculously high SP requirement in normalised zones. Anyone see someone deploy a decent Stinger in the DZ? Probably not because you'd need almost 4000 SP to do that, and getting that much SP now is a herculean task in and of its self.
And then you get to watch your skills that you spent hundreds of hours developing have almost no affect on an opposing player. That's assuming the skill actually functions because Seekers do not Seek in PvP. And that player knows it too. I get rushed everytime because they know full well that they have won the engagement before it even began.
Sorry pal, this is not a game like world of warcraft with paid subscription, no one from develing team is going to spend another money to keep PVE alive with adding new and new content to play. PVE sooner or later will be boring enough, no one is interested to play 100 times the same missions. Only the PVP can make this game atractive for months or years. Make PVP more rewarding. Normalization sucks.Originally Posted by Sparkynuts1985 Go to original post

Because otherwise how would you know this, right?
