Hey Motornation!
ChrisFly, a dev at Ivory Tower, worked with a colleague on the physics design team to create this masterpiece. A big spreadsheet that gathers all of the Pro Settings that are available for each vehicle type in The Crew 2 and tells you exactly how each setting will impact your vehicle.
Head over to the The Crew subreddit to see Chrisfly's entire post and to gain access to the spreadsheet.

As beginner I'm trying to understand if I can have some "advantage" looking into pro settings. 3 questions:
1. Are they good for beginners too? In other words: do they ONLY help advanced players to get better times or help beginners to have an easier handling TOO? Asking because I guess developers set up those specific per-vehicle default for some reason.
2. I see the most common change is moving ESP from 10 to 0. Is it just a matter of higher speed or better handling too? Can you explain how players can take advantage from "losing grip" on turning aside going faster in case of "perfect" trajectory (less turning)?
3. Furthermore considering that the developers often change vehicle's handling itself on updates, does it worth adopting these pro settings that have temporary validity?
1. Depends on a car, Sometimes you can make it easier to drive by removing some oversteer or drift.
But most of the time the aim of changing pro settings is to push cars to their limit and this often makes them harder to drive by less experienced players.
None of the settings are free boosts. They all have negative and positive effects.
2. This assist is poorly balanced. Most of the time you wont notice any loss of grip on asphalt when its off.
3. This question makes no sense. You have to account for track and weather when changing pro settings. So any particular set of values is temporal.
I keep all my vehicles in default state and only change settings before using them in summits and (very rarely) other leaderboard attempts.
Prodicsion in 2 month they chances settings and car handeling-pleyers needs to complain a littelbit.inglish is bad i knowOriginally Posted by Ubi-Rich Go to original post
