And?
Ubisoft Paris has been since GRAW, the developers of Ghost Recon, the only ones
From Ghost Recon to Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike were developed by Red Storm Entertainment but published by Ubisoft.
Then from GRAW to GRFS were developed by both Red Storm and Ubisoft Paris.
GRW is the only game 100% done by Ubisoft Paris.
I don't get why people get surprised at this.
Since I'm more of a GRW guy, I definitely agree with that subjectively speaking.Originally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
But for some people, FC5 was like a flip side of the GRW and presented better to them for things like, example: deplete-able enemy, no 1 shot stealth kill in any body parts, various missions that is not a-la Side Mission, so on.
So I think both games really scratch different type of itch that exclusive to each other.
First person vs. Third person is the main reason I switch between the two of them. I prefer third person games, and I likely would likely have shelved GRW by now if it was first person. But it sure would be nice to have the option to switch between first and third person in GRW. Wildlands is huge, can you imagine how much larger it would feel observed from a first person FoV? *dreamy eyes*Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
I'm assuming you were implying you prefer GR to be developed by Ubisoft (US) as seen by their improvements to The Division 2. Ubisoft (Montreal) due to their constant improvements with Rainbow 6:Siege and Assassin's Creed or another Ubisoft (Mont/Singa/etc)
I think Ubisoft (Paris) will do a much better job with all the data over the years. Plus all the titles since GRW in the form of all Ubisoft have improved. I'm sure, or I hope, they intermiggle with their sister companies and extract ideas and techniques.
They just have to understand the subconscious of American gamers- very defensive and very proud of any American military themed like shooter.
yeah that was my biggest gripe with fc5 also that suppressors were worthless compared to pass titlesOriginally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
While I liked FC5 as much as GRW, I have to agree with the forced kidnappings. One time I was kidnapped by John Seed's men while flying a plane in very high altitude lolol these rednecks are the best marksmen in the world.Originally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
The things I liked about FC5 were the AI (both teammate and enemy), gun sounds (some are pretty spot on), FP view and character customization. The endings were meh but I must admit the nuclear ending gave me chills. Now I mostly play it because of the Hours of Darkness Vietnam DLC.
