Try switching to DX11.
The game ran better for me on DX12, but would crash all the time. Those random crashes that just throw you to desktop with no error message or anything. But since switching to DX11, not one single crash.
If I had to guess, this indicates some kind of optimization issue.
Chrome never crashed me out, but it has lagged me out completely on many occasions, especially when reading game news. Some of those sites allow advertisements that are complete CPU pigs.Originally Posted by Jim_867_5309 Go to original post
Do you know what you should check? Whether your game is installed on the same drive as your operating system because support will tell you that is a solution as having games on a separate ssd can cause conflicts.
I should really take that response and hope some reputable tech site like GamersNexus runs with it because I haven't heard of so much tosh in my life.
But snowflop seems to be hardware picky and very CPU intensive. Playing Division 2 is like having Prime95 running. Also easy anti cheat loves to use up lots of memory. I like you hope that Ubisoft optimize their game before the raid patch because it's frustrating crashing every 5 mins and praying that intelligent standby list cleaner works.
Turn off DX12 and use DX11. That should fix most of your problems. Also, try submitting a support ticket to see if there's some other issue that could be the problem, like an issue with your system or something.Originally Posted by newbornking69 Go to original post
I've had an issue where Chrome will use a lot of system resources and slow down the game... no joke, it's only when I have the UbiSoft forums open. Any other website seems fine, even streaming twitch on my 2nd monitor.Originally Posted by Jim_867_5309 Go to original post
