I want to see ONE person defend Raider's damage buff | Forums

I've not seen ONE person defend it. Literally. Not even the most rabid Raider fanboys I know have tried to defend the damage buff.

So, here I am, in this forum, in search for the soul that shall defend it. Does it exist, though?

I'm gonna be honest, I love it.... His first heavy is 40 like normal, and I think the second chained side heavies are 40 as well. The second chained top heavy is 45 and the side heavy finishers are all 45, except for the top heavy finisher, which is 48.

I haven't been hearing too much about the heavy damage buffs, it's all been stunning tap whining.

Time will tell. He dishes some damage for sure...

Probably needs to be toned down a tad. I don't think any other character has such damage potential in a gank, besides Kensei.
Thats why I'm defending it kind of. Kensei has that same damage potential, and does good damage if he can get those HA chained heavies off.

Kensei doesn’t stun you every 2 seconds and his heavys are 50 times slower.

I think the heavies are about the same speed. Kensei also has a neutral pressure tool, which is his pummel strike mixup. The closest Raider has to that is a neutral zone, but just guard top and let the zone hit you because it grants you a free GB on them if it does.

Get used to watching those stunning taps. That's all I have to say. It makes life a lot easier when you actively pay attention to your opponent's ST usage and anticipate it.

I’ve never said I had a problem with raider lol. I don’t have a problem with any hero but peace keeper because for some reason I just can’t block her lights on console idk y. Just because I can handle
Him doesn’t change how broken he his now, I’m not asking for him to be useless but he doesn’t need all that he has.
